Art Thread: Le Rochelle

Okay, this is probbably not going to be a full art thread as I do have most of my art here (http://lerochelle.deviantart.com/). But I thought I'd give you all something new first. Took me the entire movie to draw and shade, so only about 2 and a half hours total.

Shrunk the pic to fit in window. (I always scan big.):rolleyes: Then did a slight contrasting in Photoshop.

I finnally finished it, then used photoshop to add some tinting on the second one. Not quite sure if it adds or detracts from the overall concept.:confused

Here are two new ones I did while my daughter was sick and I was unable to work... I got so sick of madagascar and ice age! I have a small pic of the scene when HB finds broom and cradles him after his death.

Did two versions, The penciled shaded one that is soft and shows how much HB loved his father, and the Inked one that shows all the ragged sorrow hellboy is feeling at that moment.

Both are entitled The Hurt. My own play on words after John Hurt.:rolleyes:

Okay, call me needy, but if I am going to be giving you guys the first looks at the new HB art I do, then I require a little something in return. You know what I mean...

I guess I should have put it at the top in the beginning... and since this is becoming a full art thread...

Here is some of my original art for my story...
Sarah, as a child, well, sort of...
When she is blown up, she ends up in a coma. Abe is able to reach her and since she is scared and unsure of herself, she is in the form of herself as a child. Maybe physical age of nine or ten our years. Abe has to leave her and when he dissappears from in front of her, she screams for him, crying, reaching her hand out to where he had stood.

Still a pencil, though I am going to prolly start inking it tonight. I'll post it when it's inked. First try at perspective on the hu... er... body. I really love the way the hand turned out tho. Yeah, sheloks a bit anime, but didnt want her to look too real since she is in her mind. Lemme know what you guys think...

Here she is, Inked in all her pain... Took me two hours to draw and only a few minutes to ink of course.
