Hey Tony, just wondering what you are working on & what do we your loyal fans have to do to get you more Marvel work.
Now that Bill Roseman is taking over Cosmic Marvel ( where I think is where your greatest strength lies ) what are the chances of you getting some work.
I believe your Negation Title was one of the greatest scifi/cosmic works ever in comics, Bill was there near the end, he should know the quality of your work as well as anyone.
Tell Joe Q to look at your Exiles , I never touched this title in its first 68 issues until you & Paul got back together, I enjoyed your work so much I went back and got your first 3 TPs and will get your last 3 soon . While your sales never were able to expand they were rock solid at 32-35k, not bad for an alternate reality title. I think Paul & you are the team supreme & should be put back together on a Cosmic title under Bill, what are the chances.

Funny you should mention it, but Rosemann got in touch with me about doing a cosmic project at marvel, but it just never quite came together. Bill was a big NEGATIOn fan, too, and I definitely up for working with me, but sometimes there are other factors involved in getting a project going. the one he had in mind is part of another big cosmic crossover in the works at the House of Ideas, and when you get multiple creative teams coordinating, sometimes those other factors creep in there, and the book we were discussing wound up going to another creator who, frankly, has a much bigger track record than I do in matters cosmic. I'm not sore, though, as it seems this was meant to be.
I say that because I'm involved in something else at DC that will blow the Marvel project, and pretty much everything else, out of the water. I can't yet say what it is -- I'll let DC announce things when they're good and ready -- but for now my fortunes are swinging over to my old stomping grounds at 1700 Broadway. After a couple of years telling Marvel stories, it's a nice change of pace to return to the DCU, which in many ways I preferred growing up. I'm not saying I don't have more Marvel stories to tell, but for now everything I have in the pipeline is DC, baby.
Um...in the comics pipeline, that is. I'm also working on a screenplay right now featuring the hero of the first comic book I ever read! More on that later....

Glad to hear that DC has you working on a project that is both huge in scope & something you have excitement about. I hope it has something to do with the New Gods revival I keep hearing hinted at ( I have always been a fan of the 4th world ) although most don't seem to get it. My only problem will be that I have given up all DC titles, Infinate crisis & 52 have left me dry. The relaunch of the Superman franchise I have found not to my liking ( although I might get the busaek/pacheco version in TP ), oh well if anyone can get me to pick up a dc title it is you.
I am very sorry to hear that Rosemen did come calling but your title got pulled from you, you doing Cosmic Marvel has been a Comic fantasy of mine. I hate when you suggest other people are far superior to you, when it is announced let us know which project it was ( so we can judge ) After reading Mystic ( very nice), Negation ( classic run, up with the best ) r666 ( my all time fave horror book ), KKBB ( nice ) and Exiles ( very nice 40 issue run ) , I think I can safley judge that you can write with the very best.
ps...while you lament KKBB, It kills me not to have seen Negation War 3 ( I read a synopsis somewhere, sounded fantastic )
good day

By the way, who could this mysterious creator with more Cosmic experiance than you be.
Marvel Cosmic in the 60s was Kirby, in the 70s, Starlin & Kirby, in the 80s, Shooter, Byrne & Starlin, in the 90s, Starlin and in the new decade Giffen ( I guess ), we konw Starlin will not wotk for Marvel, neither will Byrne and I dont believe Shooter will either.. Beyond these guys I cant really think of anyone who would fit the bill
Anyone else care to guess????

There's a big cosmic project in the works at Marvel? And a big project in the works at DC? I'm definitely curious. I don't know who could be working on this Marvel project. The only person I can think of that has a history with cosmic Marvel is Roy Thomas, but he doesn't do a lot of work these days.
