Which Iceman represented in alternate realities is your favourite and why? I've put the most featured ones in the poll above but be sure to weigh in with your obscure 'What If...'s etc with the 'Other' option.

I LOVED mutant X Bob... the pathos behind him...it was the first time we'd seen Bobby as an adult i feel.

When Havok first meets him

'It's Bob, Alex...i haven't been Bobby in years'

And he seems genuinley depressed about it....SO SAD :(

AoA baby! He was badass. What 616 Iceman should be if he would ever try.

Below I've listed all the alternate Iceman versions I can think of. Most of them I've read about, but some of them I haven't. I did a little research to get the background info on the ones I haven't read about. I'm Just trying to mention as many as I can to help add to the discussion.

Ultimate Iceman: Ultimate Iceman is one of the first X-men in Ultimate X-men. I don't know whether he would be considered an original Ultimate X-man since the team was initally formed without him, and Professor Xavier sent the team to find rescue Bobby from a Sentinel attack in thier first mission together. Anyways, Ultimate Iceman isn't much different from 616 Iceman. He has the same powers and the same immature jokester personality (although his immaturity is understandable as he was only 15 years old at the time he joined the X-men). Ultimate Iceman has been through alot since joining the X-men including being captured by Weapon X and alomst being killed by Proteus. He's also been involved in a love triangle with Kitty Pryde and Rogue. Through it all he has kept an upbeat attitude and remained faithful to Xavier and his dream.

Age of Apocalypse Iceman: AOA Iceman is an original X-man of the X-men formed by Magneto. He started out very similar to 616 Iceman with the same powers and personality. However, Magneto pushed him much harder to develop his powers, and as a consequence, AOA Iceman gained a much greater control over his abilities. Basically, he became an awesome badass!!!! Unfortunately, AOA Iceman also had a change in personality. He became much less "human" looking and acting and began to alienate himself from the rest of the X-men. Overall, AOA Iceman was a fun look at what Bobby could do if more driven and how realizing his potential might affect him.

Mutant X Ice-Man: The Mutant X verison of Ice-Man is another interesting take on Bob Drake (as he called himself) and his powers. Mutant X Ice-man had his powers tampered with and increased by Loki, just like 616 Iceman during his X-Factor days. Unfortunately for Ice-man, he didn't have an inhibitor belt to help control his increased power like 616 Iceman had. Therefore, he became permanately stuck in a sub-zero ice form and was unable to touch any living thing without instantly freezing and killing it. This circumstance caused his humorous personaly to become more bitter and cynical. Ice-Man was a part of team of mutants called "The Six". They were basically the Mutant X version of X-Factor. (note: I haven't read this version of Ice-man so the information above is based what I've read on-line)

Earth X Iceman: Earth X Iceman is similar to Mutant X Ice-Man in that he also had his powers increased beyond control. In this case though, Earth X Iceman had to stay in a cold environment or risk melting. He ended up moving to the Arctic where he created an ice city for himself and the Inuit living there. (note: another version I haven't read)

1602 Robert Trefusis: The 1602 version of Iceman, named Robert Trefusis, was one of a group of "witchbreed" being taught by Carlos Javier. Robert's powers are similar to 616 Iceman, but he seemed to need more ambient moisture in the air in order to create a large amount of ice. When there was some moisture around he proved to be very powerful, i.e. encasing an entire ship in ice with The Grand Inquisitor (1602's Magneto) aboard. Personality wise he wasn't developed very much but he seemed to be upbeat and positive. He also had, in the past, served as a cabin boy on a ship lead by his uncle, Sir Francis Drake.

House of M Iceman: In the House of M timeline, when the Mutant-Human War began, Bobby's father turned him in to the authorities, figuring it would be safer for him to be in captivity. While in captivity, Bobby was freed in a raid by Apocalypse. Feeling abandoned by his parents, Bobby agreed to become one of Apocalypse's Horsemen. He helped Apocalypse set up his Empire in Northern Africa. (note: another version I haven't read)

X-men: Fairy Tales Kori: In the recent X-men: Fairy Tales miniseries, Iceman appears as a cute fluffy white dog named Kori (Kori is apprantely Japanese for "ice"). Kori had lost his faith in friendship until he met a boy with a peach pit for an eye named Hitome (X-men: Fairy Tales version of Cyclops). Hitome befriends Kori and in return Kori helps Hitome, Aoi (Beast), and Tenshi (Angel) save the Emperor's daughter (Jean). Very cute story!!!

Movie Iceman: The Bobby Drake of the recent X-men movies is one of the students at Professor Xavier's Academy. He didn't do much in the first movie other than flirt with Rogue briefly. In the second an third movies he got some more development as Rogue's boyfriend. His personality is much more subdued than his 616 counterpart without the humor. He also seems very timid with his powers until the final battle in the third movie when he takes down Pyro.

X-men: The Animated Series Iceman: As far as I know, Iceman only appeared in one episode of TAS, but it was an interesting appearance. This Iceman was again one of the original X-men. He had a history of not following orders and basically clashing with Cyclops and Xavier. He grew tired of the constant battles and left the X-men with Lorna Dane following him. He persued a normal life getting a job as an accountant and was very content with this new existance. However, Lorna was not as happy and she ended up leaving him to join a new goverment sposered team of mutants led by Forge. Iceman tracked her down, but found that she was now in love with her new teammate Havok. Poor Bobby. Xavier ended up offerring Iceman a chance to rejoin the X-men, but he declined.

X-men Evolution Iceman: X-men Evolution Iceman was introduced in a group of "New Mutants" in the second season of the show. He again had the same powers and joking attitude as the 616 Iceman. Although he liked to joke around he also proved to be ambitious, as he later ended up have a larger role with the X-men, even participating in a few missions (one with the O5 getting an impromptu team-up!).

Spider-man and His Amazing Friends Iceman: This Iceman is pretty much the same as the 616 Iceman (except for the blonde hair). He has alot more cool points than 616 Iceman because he's best friends with Spidey. You can't get more awesome.......I mean *AMAZING* than hanging out with Spider-man and Firestar and beating up on the badest of the bad guys (i.e. Videoman). Plus they had a dorm room that transformed into a secret headquarters!!! AMAZING!!!!

If I've got some info on them wrong, especially for the one's I haven't read about, please correct me.

As for my favorite Iceman, I'm gonna go with Iceman from "Spider-man and His Amazing Friends". This show, however cheesey it was, got me interested in Iceman as a kid. I just liked how awesome he looked when iced up and how fun his powers were.

Arrrgh what a difficult choice. I'm torn between AoA Iceman and Mutant X Iceman... I'll have to give it some thought.

Movie Iceman, because he's played by the hot boy from Animorphs.

Ultimate Iceman is pure crap. Don't like him a bit.

AoA Iceman is second best, but he honestly didn't stick out in my mind. I even had to think "Iceman was in AoA...?"

X-Men: Evo Iceman was boring.

Haven't read much of Mutant X, and none of Earth X or 1602.

My sentiments pretty much echo these. At the time Iceman, with the rest of the Spidey-gang, were up there with any Super-friend you could throw at me.

Mutant X Iceman. I wish Bobby Drake would start demonstrating some of Bob Drake's maturity.

AOA version rules all, so many cool (unintential pun) moments, he has more badass momentsr in those few AOA issues than he's been in all 40 something years of 616 version

AOA Iceman was almost scary. He was incredibly powerful. and not afraid to use his powers creatively.

I'm going to go with Mutant X Iceman, as Mutant X doesn't get nearly as much love as it should.
