SNL Season sets are Coming !

For a few years I would muse and think " would NBC have the balls to do Saturday Night Live Season sets ? " . Of course the thing was the show without commercials and all would be over an hour an episode. And costs and all would be a lot to do. So much is in the vaults at GE/NBC and I always dreamed of seeing those 1st few seasons without so much being cut off for syndication.

So now we'll see it. December 5th " SNL : Season 1# " arrives. I can't wait.

I've been a big fan of SNL since I was little (Mr. Bill was my favourite!), but I'm not sure if I want entire season sets. People love to complain about the show, but it has always been hit-and-miss, and watching hours of dated, mediocre stuff just for the few classic bits doesn't sound like fun. I think I'd be more interested in the musical performances from the first season than the comedy bits. I mean, I'm a Muppets fan, but some of those Muppet sketches are painful to watch now.
