New To HULK: Where to Begin

I've been reading the threads here and have interest in the Hulk. Where is a good jumping on place?

The "Planet Hulk" storyline started with #92, eight months ago. That'd probably be the best place to start, but #100 would be pretty reasonable if you don't want to hunt down the earlier issues.

If you're willing to wait a few months, "World War Hulk" kicks off this spring. It promises to be a lot of fun.

yup, the beginning of Planet Hulk is when i started too. it's the perfect place to jump in because it's by a new writer and you don't need to know any background to understand what's going on.

i never imagined i would ever be a hulk fan and it's actually one of my favorite comics atm

If you wanted his origin, didn't they recently release his Mythos issue?

I'd say you can't go wrong with the Incredible Hulk Visionaries: Peter David books. they're not recent, but they're good stuff.
