And if so, what books were they and why?
I don't know if there's a thread of this on the board, and I don't mean to turn this into a DC bitch-fest, I just want to know.
Me, I've dropped a shedload of books. I'm really not caring for alot of what DiDio and company are doing.
Here's what I have dropped;
Robin- Partly due to the Cassandra Cain mess, but also because Tim has become Dick Grayson in spirit and less Tim Drake the last few years IMO.
Nightwing- Pretty self explanitory, I'm not going back even for Wolfman.
Batman- Morrison surprisingly wasn't doing it for me.
Green Arrow- I enjoyed the OYL stuff at first but I can't stand the idea of Ollie becoming Mr. Kung Fu in less than a year. Plus Mia's HIV condition isn't handelled the way it should.
Outsiders- Again, I liked it at first, but eventually I didn't like where it went.
Flash- Again, self explanitory.
And I'm planning to drop ASAP;
Green Lantern, Green Lantern Corps, Checkmate- Nothing wrong with these stories at all. But I asked myself "Do you pay attention to these titles enough to keep reading them, and get psyched for the next issues?" and the answer was no.
All Star books- Mainly due to the pathetic delays.
Quite a list, now that I look at it in physical form.
Anyway, sorry if I sound whiny here, but I just want to know what you are all reading, or more appropriately, not reading.

I'm the opposite. I've actually started picking up more DC books than I have in a long time. Before OYL, I was buying Teen Titans, GL, and JSA.
Since OYL, I've started buying Robin, Catwoman, Action, Superman, Batman, Detective, Blue Beetle, Checkmate, Wonder Woman, Hawkgirl, JLA, Shadowpact, the Atom, and Aquaman. I've picked up Nightwing with Wolfman's arrival. I'm also buying 52.
The only book I've dropped recently was Legion.

Hawkgirl-I tried the first two issues of the Simonson/Chaykin run, but it just didnt do anything for me. The art was some of the worst I have ever seen from Chaykin and the plot and dialogue by Simonson just werent interesting. Suffice to say it was a HUGE drop from the previous runs by Johns and Palmiotti and Gray.
Flash-To be fair I dropped it before the current team took over as the Calavieri and Semeskis run drove me away. That said after reading one issues of the current title, it just wasnt for me. Muddy and unclear art by the Lashley and two writers who seemed to be learning how to write a comic as they went. I will give Guggenheim and Adrian a try though.
Wonder Woman-Heinberg and Dodson seemed like a must have team, but the delays have totally killed my interest in the title.
Aquaman-I really liked the first couple of issues, but the delays, much like Wonder Woman, killed the book's interest for me.
That's pretty much it, there are a # of titles that are on the "edge" of getting cut, like Jonah Hex, Atom and Catwoman.

Aquaman as well. I was loving the new direction Busiek was taking the book in, but the long delay and the news that both Busiek & Guice are leaving put the book killed all my interest.
Wonder Woman is on the bubble. Whenever the next issue comes out, I'll check it out, but unless it really wows me beyond the art (which has always been good), I'm going to give this latest revamp a pass.

ACTION, post-UP UP AND AWAY. They've got tunnel-vision on making that book more the like the Superman movies and regressing Lex into a one-dimensional Superman-stalking psychopath. Still enjoying Busiek's SUPERMAN, Morrison's ALL-STAR, and Verheiden's SUPERMAN/BATMAN (Thank God Loeb's off that title), so that arc didn't sour me on the Superman books altogether, just the one.
FLASH, mostly due to the massive revamp. I loved Johns' FLASH, all the way through the final issue, but the new creative team/direction doesn't do it for me.
On the flipside, I'm picking up the main Bat-titles again (had dropped out during the reign of terror of Winnick and Lieberman), plus I'm reading a lot of the new OYL titles, like Checkmate, 52, Atom, and Uncle Sam and the Freedom Fighters, so I guess overall I'm reading more DC books OYL, since I've picked up more titles than I've dropped.

I've picked up more.Teen Titans has been highly enjoyable since OYL considering I've never read a Titans comic before.
Green Lantern has just been phenomenal since the Green Arrow and Batman team up arcs.

I dropped GL because I dislike Hal.
I dropped GA prior to OYL because of Winick.
I dropped Flash because I had to cut a title.
I dropped Aquaman because as much as I like Busiek I just couldn't get into it.
On the flip side I did start getting Action and Superman regularly instead of when a story appealed to me.

Nightwing: My two favorite DC characters are Nightwing and Batgirl. With Didio’s “great” plans for the character OYL and the horrid Jones Arc I dropped it with all other titles. Although I’m seriously considering coming back because of Marv.
Robin: Book was stagnate for a while and with the butchering of Cass I dropped this with no interest to every return.
Various Batman Titles: None of the titles really interested me and Cass becoming a villain wasn’t mentioned. Someone that should have become one of Batman’s biggest threats isn’t given the attention he gives to a common street thug. Um yeah right...
Teen Titans: Was an OK book but with all the garbage that I saw DC doing to characters I liked in 52 I just decided to ditch DC completely.
Outsiders: Haven’t liked the book in a very long time.

I started picking up and have now dropped 'Martian Manhunter'.
I really hate the OYL version of this formally personal favorite character.

Just Supergirl. Outsiders is on the brink of getting the axe, as is The Flash, unless the new team really turns it around. Aquaman might get it, too, if the guy taking over after Kurt can't do something notable (I hate the crap this book's been put through). Anyway, yeah, so far, just Supergirl.

Just Supergirl.
That's one I forgot... I didn't drop it because I disliked it but because of budgetary reasons. Ed Brubaker keeps writing new books at Marvel and Supergirl was the lowest on the chopping block when Criminal came out (and now I gotta make room for Iron Fist).
Letting Brubaker get away was a HUGE mistake by DC. HUGE.
Another was Warlord. Can't get past the art and the stories have been... meh... thus far. Not worth the $$$ in my opinion.

Jeph Loeb wrote Supergirl not Brubaker.

Jeph Loeb wrote Supergirl not Brubaker.
I think he meant he has to drop a book everytime a new Brubaker book comes out so he can buy that instead.

Well, I keep adding and dropping Hawkgirl, because I'm interested in where Carter's been, more than whatever Kendra's up to. I'll probably be dropping Green Lantern once the Global Gaurdians subplot is over, Aquaman, once the new team comes on board, and Wonder Woman, once Heinberg's run is over. May be picking up Flash, though.

Outsiders and Flash are dropped. JLA is lookingly likely.

When OYL began, I decided to start reading EVERY DCU title, just because OYL seemed like a good starting point to try something new. At one point, the pull list in my sig was nearly twice the size of my average posts. I've since dropped nearly everything, and I've only kept titles like Batman, Ion, Nightwing and Wonder Woman because I care about the characters or creative teams. The issues themselves haven't been all that worthwhile to me.
I'm really only impressed by Birds of Prey, Detective Comics, Shadowpact, and Teen Titans within the regular DCU. Everything else I can take or leave.

What books are you actully keeping
From DC?
Detective Comics, Catwoman, Blue Beetle, Birds of Prey, Teen Titans, Jonah Hex, will probably try the new Spirit book, and 52.
I'm also getting a handfull of Wildstorm series in issue form.

I had to drop a lot of comics due to civil war and budget constraints going into college. I dropped Green Lantern, Teen Titans (which i just got back into missing a couple of issues though), Blue Beetle (really wish i didnt and was the hardest for me to do, what has happened in the story line since like issue 5 or 6 can't remember where i left off), both Superman titles, Batman like issue one of the new writer, cant remember what else.
I did drop some due to poor storylines, Aquaman, The Flash, Super Girl, and Green Lantern Corps.
The only DC titles i kept are 52 Nightwing (which i have the issues but havent read them in a while) Detective comics (same as Nightwing) and my newly repicked up Teen Titans.

I think he meant he has to drop a book everytime a new Brubaker book comes out so he can buy that instead.
Yah that's what I meant.
If Brubaker writes ANOTHER book the one at the bottom of my enjoyment list (nightwing) would then be gone.

I stopped getting Teen Titans because I wasn't really enjoying it anyways, and losing Superboy just sealed the deal. I also dropped Supergirl because it was just plain terrible.

The creative team change for Aquaman is a welcome one for me, but sadly once I've dropped a book it is very rare for me to pick it up again (I really really really really HATED what they tried to do with this character. Potential writers note: please read Justice for some inspiration into the MAN that Aquaman is).

52 - reading
BLUE BEETLE - dropped but am going to resume with upcoming ties to the soon-to-be-revived New Gods
DETECTIVE COMICS - buying regularly and loving it for the first time in years
JONAH HEX - totally loving
JUSTICE LEAGUE OF AMERICA - had dropped but resumed
MYSTERY IN SPACE - excellent
OUTSIDERS - best its been since the fist issues
SUPERMAN - great for the first time since Loeb first came aboard
BATMAN - see Detective comments
FIRESTORM: THE NUCLEAR MAN - dropped. borderline but couldn't keep it with other new titles
GREEN ARROW - started again with OYL but dropped a couple issues in
GREEN LANTERN - started and loving it
JLA: CLASSIFIED - only ever bought the first arc
ACTION COMICS - see Superman comments
AQUAMAN: SWORD OF ATLANTIS - tried first the first time since Veitch rebooted and dropped 2 issues in. Too slow
CHECKMATE - Started but dropped. Too slow
THE FLASH: FASTEST MAN ALIVE - tried and dropped after # 4. Will probably pick up after reviews of Guggenheim's first arc come in
THE OMEGA MEN - reading
SHADOWPACT - reading and liking more than expected
SUPERGIRL - ditto
HAWKGIRL - have fallen behind due to almost unreadable current run. Hoping next team will be better with the return of Hawkman
JSA CLASSIFIED - still reading
SUPERGIRL AND THE LEGION OF THE SUPER-HEROES - still reading and it gets better and better. Still want my v4 Giffen LSH back though
WONDER WOMAN - still reading but will never get singles again by Heinberg
ION - really liking
WARLORD - dropped long ago. This is worse than that mini they did back in the 90's. Jones horrible writer here and Sears would've been ok as penciler but another inker who doesn't use a fat tip Sharpie really would've saved the book more than anyone. Who was editing this again ?

I'm somewhat conflicted and getting second thoughts about dropping Checkmate, GL and GLC.
If I do drop them, that's that. But I want to be certain I actually want to before I go do it.
On the one hand, they're not bad stories by any means. At the same time though, they're not paticularly standing out to me most of the time.
Any opinions/thoughts?

-Catwoman. I tried for a few issues, but Selina is Catwoman, Holly is not even a sidekick. Plus, the utter predictability and unapropriateness of the baby's father sealed it. Should have dropped it at #37 when Brubaker left.
-Robin. Not written very well. Plus there's the Cass thing, now apparently aggravated by the Klarion un-reboot.
Detective Comics: on the bubble. One more two-issue story cramped into 22 pages by means of vast and insane leaps of logic and it's gone.
JSA: Canceled for now, but would have dropped it anyway. If Johns is nicknamed Captain Yesterday, his fill-in was Admiral Dawn-of-time.
Wonder Woman: is it me, or are all three issues written by three vastly different writer using the same pen name? Dropped as of this issue.

I've tried a few new ones and then dropped them.
Hawkgirl - bought 1 issue, just wasn't excited enough to read more.
Aquaman Sword Of Atlantis - I hated this revamp.
Shadowpact - Fun first issue but the novelty wore off quickly.
Blue Beetle - I like it but not quite enough to stick with it.
All-New Atom - Loved the first two issues but lost enthusiasm after 3 and 4.
Tales Of The Unexpected - Deeply disappointing.
The Flash - Bought 3 issues before giving up. Didn't like the creative team.
Outsiders - Bought 1 issue, hated the new direction.
The books I've liked most since OYL have been JLA, Batman, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, and Teen Titans. I think this week's JSA book sounds promising.

I stopped getting Teen Titans because I wasn't really enjoying it anyways, and losing Superboy just sealed the deal. I also dropped Supergirl because it was just plain terrible.
Same two complaints I have, Titans got dull after Superboy quit and then they killed him off and aged bart into an adult. I just am not interested in the new characters and have dropped it. Superigrl was a character I was eager to see come back, I happened to liike Loeb/Turner's run in Superman/Batman. I read the first issues, thought her anc Conner had nice interaction, and even some of the Kandor stuff but it was rather dull and I just lost interest.
I also dropped the Superman titles, just wasn't intereseted in whatever crystals had to do with anything. I am reading Donner's stuff out of curiousity. Seems like lots of build up, hope there's some pay off.
I dropped Outsisders after OYL. Wasn't too into it to begin with, so not a big deal. Dropped the Batman titles cause they just seemed off to me. Bat-son didn't bring me back either.
Pretty much Infintie Crisis as a whole soured me on DC so I'm buying some Marvel and getting into Dark Horse's new Star Wars titles.
DC I'm still reading:
Wonder Woman, I can weather the delays but there needs to be more going on. Young Avengers really packed alot into each issue.
Green Lantern, cause I really like Hal Jordan and am glad they got rid of that awful retch-con of him being a drunk. Hal was my favorite as a kid so I"m glad they borught him back.
JLA, curiosus where its going but I hope its gets more going soon.
All-Star superman, again I can handle delays and I'm really like the imgainative turn Morrison is takig on Superman. He works better outside of continuitiy to me since his stories so often seem like they are already.

I decided to try out the new OYL books and kept reading Shadowpact and All-New Atom but dropped Blue Beetle and Checkmate, mostly for financial reasons.
I stopped reading Nightwing while Jones was on the title, but I'm back on it. The only thing I really dropped that I had been reading but didn't care to continue OYL was Outsiders.

You don't need to drop WW!
It only comes out 3 times a YEAR!
You might as well just keep it for the yearly investment of $9.00 it'll cost you ;)

Not only that, but Heinberg already has a replacement, so hopefully she'll be able to make the book better. And if not, she's only there for four issues, I think, so hopefully, maybe, they'll actually give Wonder Woman a deserving creative team one day like they've done with Batman and Superman.

I'm probably going to drop Aquaman after Busiek leaves. I need to drop atleast one book since I just picked up Legion of Superheroes (and Daredevil, which I'm getting in the trades). New Creative team plus new direction pretty much means I'll be dropping this for books that I'm actually interested in.

Aside from Jonah Hex, which isn't a OYL book to begin with, I dropped all my DC titles.
Aside from Hex and The Boys, my pull-list is now all Vertigo.
