wHAT DO U THINK WOULD HAPPEN IF clark and lois were never married clark was permantly removed from the dailey planet and that supes and the goverment were hand in hand agianst crinimals. With this all happening with Everybody knowing clark kent is superman

Its a what if superman took a darker turn he probally be investigating the demise of krypton luthor could have killed lane for the blow he cold have married lane. If batman can go easygoing why can't supes

I've long thought it would be interesting to get Clark and Lois (perhaps) out of the Daily Planet. Under Byrne, both had written books, Lois had even won an Edgar or two. I thought it would be interesting to see them leave the daily grind of reporting behind (as many a writer has done), and maybe move back to Smallville, to the old Kent farm as their base; but they'd constantly be on the go. Lois researching her books, and Clark doing that, and his work as Superman. As Byrne wrote him, he had no Fortress of Solitude. In this version, all of Smallville would fill that bill.

Its just a diffrent spin for superman as he has recently gained the abillities of self will plus i hated lois sinse that dumb superman movie

Probably a similiar scenario like the "ending battle" arc where all the villains went after Clark's close friends.

Wasn't there a Superman animated episode where Supes is teamed up with Luthor...oh and he's also like the biggest jerk around, all serious and pissed off and "alien".

Or did I dream that?

i don't think superman would necessarily get all dark.

he'd mourn lois for a bit. then give up the clark kent identity and maybe be more pro-active. leave time for his daily planet friends, but embrace being superman more and help starving countries. be more of a humanitarian, help find out where all these rich nutsos should give money (hey bruce, you got a billlionbillion dollars, give some to charity).
sort of skip the whole kingdom come thing, and go straight to him trying harder to be more involved in peoples lives.
instead of being sad and angry, he'd direct the compassion for lois onto the world.

in short, he'd become the current doctor who without the time and space travel;) and superpowers.

I understand how much Lois means to Superman, and if she ever were to die and it was his fault, then those who kill her are in trouble and only Batman Wonder Woman may be able to stop mad Superman.

With both heroes understand the lost of a love one, and also remind Superman how Lois would reacted if he took a life. :(

Superman, trying to stop a mugging, finds everyone terrified and hating him, a museum showing all the villains he has killed, Lois crippled, and Luthor alive but bankrupted; Luthor is shown to be Jimmy in disguise and uses green kryptonite on Superman and Superman passes out after Jimmy says he'd married Lois; Superman recovers and finds Metropolis destroyed, Booster Gold dying accuses him of doing it, a radio gives a message from Houston calling for Superman, Superman accidentally kills Guy Gardner and Martian Manhunter (J'onn J'onzz) after they attack him; the U.S. military readies to attack Superman . Superman survives an attack by the military, and kills Firestorm, Captain Atom, and the Doom Patrol; finally he realizes ...... ;)

He and Wonder Woman could finally hook up. Something I've been advocating for years. When are they going to kill off Lois, isn't she past her best before date? Sheesh!:rolleyes:

He would be a lot like the Pre-IC WW in terms of his setup. Still doing good deeds and all, but more proactively using his Superman-ness to do good and being it all the time.

Soooooooooo, I guess when they finally get a writer that can ably write such a Superman, the book would then be cancelled and relaunched with a part time comics writer and splendid artwork, feature a story where they put the secret ID back although he had outgrown the need for such by then, and the book would promptly become "bi-monthly" (meaning, "be happy that you are getting it, and you will get it . . . whenever")

If Lois died , Superman will probably end up like the superman in the superman animated episode "Brave New Metropolis" where he'll be a tyrant and work with lex hand in hand to bring order.

Well... Lois will die sometime and one would hope Superman has thought that far into the future... so I can't imagine THAT scenario... :rolleyes:

And for that matter Clark Kent will havta pass on someday as well...

I say he invents a new mild mannered secret identity and goes back to being the Superman he was supposed to be before we were so rudely interrupted...
