NRAMA: Thoughts on 2007?

JQ: How about Power Pack is coming back into continuity and X-Men First Class II just to name a couple of cool things.

WAAAHOOO!!!!!!

Screw the Haters. Long live Joe Q and the Original 5!!!!

Exactly. For me, the only thing that comes out of his mouth that can top that is this:

Newsarama: So with the success of First Class are we going to be seeing more of the Original X-Men?

Joe Q: Why yes we will be in fact we are bring back Jean Grey-Summers and reuniting the Original 5 for a current in-continuity ongoing series written by Ed Burbaker or Mike Carey and drawn by Pasquel Ferry. We haven't decided on the writer b/c both just rock ass.

The above interview question about an Ongoing for the Original 5 post CW is COMPLETELY FAKE!!!! COMPLETELY FAKE AND ALL TOOK PLACE INSIDE MY LITTLE FANTASY WORLD.

Which Joe Fridays was this? Is it for real?

Plus, a new First Class should be awesome! Hopefully the same creative team will stay with it.

No it's not real. If it was I wouldn't be able to type. I'd have fainted.

I've not read it yet, on account of Civil War taking all my money, but having read all the positive reviews I plan to catch up post-CW.

This news makes me happy for all those I know love it, such as UTV and Beast.

I'm sorry I actually had a dream about that. Brubaker and Carey were alternating 12 issue arcs w/ Ferry drawing all of it. It's still a dream but one day...one day.

I wonder how they're going to fudge the Cafe due to the sliding timeline. A beatnix coffee house doesn't make a lot of sense in the 90's. God, I hope Bobby just calls it a retro coffee house, and they don't try to make it an internet cafe or something. The biggest problem the sliding timeline can cause.

I believe he met Candy pretty early. He met up w/ her after he realized Jean loved Scott. I think it was in the 30's. I'd have to drag the issues out of the box they are in but I wanna say it was #32. They were at Cafe-a-Go-Go and Warren brought her. Just than a motorcycle gang busted in and Hank and the others had to get them to leave w/o using their powers. Then Scott and Jean went for a walk and fell in love...till that skank Emma. Sorry I tend to go on and on when talking Originals.

The Jean must come back!!!

UncannyXmen.net says it was #31 he met Candy in.

First Class seems to be progressing down the line a little bit, we're atleast past the Sentinel issues which were #14-16.

Someone asked about sales. Sadly they haven't been massive, but the critical acclaim seems to have impressed Joey Q. somewhat like Runaways, enough to give it a second mini already. :)

Sept. #50 X-MEN FIRST CLASS #1 (Of 8) 39,859
Oct. #53 X-MEN FIRST CLASS #2 (Of 8) 33,688

Hehehe!!! :D My favorite Bernard scene:

Woman: "Listen! Bernard the Poet is reciting his latest masterpiece!"

Bernard: "Like, life is a yo-yo...and mankind keeps tying knots in the string! Go up...Go down...Then call it progress! For, happiness is a warm puppet!"

Vera (to Hank): "Isn't he marvy, Hank? He's our answer to Bob Dylan!"

Hank (to Vera): "Personally, I'm even a but uncertain of the question!"

Zelda (to Bobby): "What a groovy poem! And, it's in free verse!"

Bobby (to Zelda): "It hadda be! Nobody'd be nutty enough to pay 'im for it!"

Just wonderful. I gotta find a picture of all of them at a table together. Warren/Candy, Hank/Vera, Bobby/Zelda and Scott/Jean. I'd never change avatars.

I think that happened at Bobby's 18th birthday party. I can't remember the issue.

Edit: Found it. X-men #32. I'd scan it for you, but I only have the Essential, so it's not in color.

Don't feel bad.

I don't think it can be done. It's too wide and short, so when you shrink it to 80x80 it ends up horizontally smashed.

You could always just use her.

Or better yet, ask someone who can make animated avatars (I can't) to make you a slideshow of all their faces.
