If one can list the different Batman issues and storylines into years how would they be listed?

By that I mean what would be considered Year One, Year Two, Year Three, Year Four, etc.. up till now?

I've read Year One, Two, Three, I don't know if there's a fourth... then there's that Year 100 book which I haven't read yet.

It depends, because there's a lot that is considered canon, a lot that isn't; so really there's a lot of ways to fill in the gaps.

I personally see Frank Miller's Batman: Year One as the beginning (Of course), with a year-long period where all of Batman's rogues start popping up (The Man Who Laughs, which I haven't actually read, I believe would fit in here) followed by Year Three being The Long Halloween, with Year Four being Dark Victory.

That's my personal preference for the development of Batman's early career.
