This is my 2nd attempt at doing my daily buying habits. This thread is for my fun and contains harsh language , me doing lame ass jokes that will parody things as well as spoilers. Be warned and be advised.....VIEWER DESCRETION ADVISED.

The Good
New X-Men #32: Lets start the week off with NXM and go from there. It was a great read and continues the strong story telling Yost & Kyle have injected on this series. Its the funeral of Joshua Guthrie and every Guthrie is there. Sam , Paige , the twins , the cousins ...( ya know momma Guthrie sure liked to get it on weirdly. Like she could populate a whole city of Mutants.)
Anyhow Wither is gone but he's in the thrall as we find out of the new Black Queen. She played an old woman but finds something inside Kevin Ford and his death touch. As that happens the crew of X-Factor keep a watch due to Emma's insistance.
A great read Yost & Kyle continue to inject past great things like Stryker and Nimrod and do new stories with a young cast. I recommend it.
The Immortal Iron Fist #1: This was a late pickup and I got it due to my love of Danny Rand and how much I digged Powerman & Iron Fist. I had my worries since Iron Fist has never really clicked except for having Luke Cage around.
But Ed Brubaker rules now. He brings up the Legacy of Iron Fist and sets up Rand as he struggles to handle it. Battleing insane kung fu terrorists like Hydra was a great start and we get a quick origin. Plus we see the previous Iron Fist who will become part of this story as he's been found.
I recommend this as well. Awesome issue and start and Brubaker continues to roll at Marvel.
New Exaclibur #13: I used to mock Frank Teri and his writing a lot. Most of it to me sucked when he wrote on Wolverine all those many years ago. But he's shocked me. I mean shocked me at how solid he's started to become.
In this issue Cain Marko struggles as he's losing his powers as the Unstoppable Juggernaunt. As he wants to be a hero he talks with Black Tom Cassidy in prison and that exchange makes the issue as does the start.
Combining laughs with sadness as Tom Cassidy concedes that monsters like him can't get forgiveness. For killing poor Sammy Pare , he tells Cain that he and him can never atone for their prior misdeeds. The inner voice pushes Marko to go back to the island where it all started for him and the team learns of it at the end.
Teen Titans #41: Continues the Geoff Johns run as usual. This finishes up the Titans Traior arc and we see the grand return of JERICHO. He's back and shocked at how much has changed for the team he once was a part of. But he also goes into swift action using Wonder Girl as a weapon against Bombshell.
I loved this issue for Jericho's new look and how he and Rose Wilson bond at the end. Then we have Slade show up ( and lets be honest...least Johns is ignoring the piss poor Winick version) and proclaim he wants his children back and will get them back with force soon.
Comes with 3-d glasses and a special Teen Titans Go thing included. Still recommend for the fact its a new Titans team of Robin , Jericho , Saturn Girl , Cyborg , Raven, Wonder Girl , Kid Devil and Ravanger ! :)
*52 #29: The last days of the JSA. The group struggles as Thanksgiving is there and only Flash , Wildcat and Alan Scott show up. The 3 muse that the JSA may have ran its course and that they are old fogies. Of course outside a parade happens and its the new Lex Luthor led " Infinity Inc " .
Seems that Luthor's created a new Jade ! This sets off Obsidian who sees this as trashing his sisters legacy since she died . It takes Alan Scott to stop his son from stepping over the line finally.
I recommend this issue of *52 . I like that DC's brought back the Infinity Inc name in a new way. We have a new Sky Man , Nuklon and Jade . Yeah its not the old guys but its nice to see new heroes being created in this.
Punsiher War Journal #1 : Frank Castle is back and he's came back to the mainstream Marvel Universe to kill some super villain bastards. I loved watching Frank take down Stilt Man and get a smile from that as he started investigating the Thinker and the traces to Tony Stark.
If you like Frank Castle blowing away villains and not giving a fuck , this is for you. Its not the Max Punisher but I like this. My copy weirdly was the Black & White version.
The Bad
Batman #659: Its a special fill in as John Ostrander and Tom Mandrake do the 1st part of a 2 part story called " Grotesk " . This isn't at all good and seems slide in to make Morrison's magic last as long as possible on this title.
Seems a special plastic surgeon developed a new technique and it was stolen by someone. The Russian mob is after payment and since the surgeon apparntly died they wanna make his sister , a doctor named Amina Franklin pay the price. Thats til Grotesk shows up and trust me....you aren't missing anything special.
Grotesk is a villain who grafts skin pieces to make a mask and has a torch for a hand. So he's the DC version of Mr.Clean. So when your copying a piss poor Joe Casey villain how good is it gonna be ? In the end Grotesk escapes for part #2 as Batman is sure he knows who it is.
I wouldn't recommend it. Because it sucks and blows monkey balls. This is the best DC could get for a fill in ? Wow....
The Ugly
*52 #30: Now this was a bad part. Renee has taken Charlie ( Vic aka the Question) to Kathy Kane's where he lies in a bed . The doctor warns his time is ticking down and you just feel sad. I really don't wanna see the Question die like this while Montaya takes the role as the Female Question. I could handle him dying in some heroic way but him slowly slipping down....:(
Batman is off on some quest to regain his fire again. Robin finds him after he's faced the 10 Eyed Warriors . Not much about that and we see Nightwing and Batwoman's 1st meeting and its pretty lackluster.
Whats pretty scary is its taken Kane months to take down Intergang in Gotham. I'm sure that fills Nightwing and company with pleasure that the city could go to hell so quick and it takes Batwoman months to handle it.
In all I think it was the 1st issue of *52 I didn't like.
