With Bruce Willis and Stallone returning to the franchises that made them major stars, looks like Murphy is doing the same:

the only one of these 3 movies i condone is Bruce Willis on Die hard, the man has proven (to me atleast) that he can do no wrong.

Lemme guess, Rosewood gets shot, and Axel has to go to Beverly Hills to get to the bottom of things, only to reveal an even larger scheme!*

*This is essentially the premise for ALL the Beverly Hills Cop movies.

I was going to make a Judge Reinhold joke, but then checked IMDB and saw that he's had a fairly steady career.

North, The Whole Ten Yards, The Kid, Mercury Rising, Striking Distance...

Oh, and the whole music career, too.

No, there's a price.

That price is your soul.

And don't forget Hudson Hawk.

No, I'm sorry.

But it is much better if we all forget about Hudson Hawk.

I intentionally left out Hudson Hawk.

Why?

Because dammit, I love Hudson Hawk.

No one does "burnt-out cop" like Bruce Willis. And he consistantly gets the best hairpieces of any actor. Samuel L. Jackson WISHES he got hairpieces as good as Bruce Willis!

Sylvestor Stallone, Eddie Murphy, Bruce Willis, & Harrison Ford should all star in a single movie as their respective characters from Rambo, Rocky, Beverly Hills Cop, Die Hard, & Indiana Jones. It would be better than these old movies sequels.

Yeah... but what a boring movie that would be...

Five guys talking about the old days as nurses take them out of the room one by one to change their diapers.  :D

I went and saw the last BH Cop . It was decent but you could tell the series was no longer on top. If I was Paramount I'd get Richard Donner ( who has done the Lethal Weapon movies ) to do a high action/comedy film for Murphy.

The danger is the last film only did $ 44 Million in the USA. Could a IV do better than that ?

Beverly Hills Cop III was actually pretty good. Nowhere near as good as 1 and 2 but still alright. I think that with Taggart and Bogamill not in the movie could have hurt it, and it almost seemed like III didnt have the grittiness of the first 2, plus I think it was PG-13.

Another big thing people probably wonder is, why do all the people that fuck with Axel Foley go to Beverly Hills afterwards?

Eddie Murphy needs to bust out with another stand up comedy film. I understand the reasons for doing the kid films, and that's notable, but he needs to got back to what put the food on the table in the first place, because Norbit is not going to cut it, and returning to the role of Axel Foley, while comforting it may be for him, isn't exactly what the fans are waiting for. They are waiting for funny. He is not delivering funny.

His last movie worthy of note was Life with Martin Lawrence, though he may gain some praise for his role in Dreamgirls.

As far as Bruce Willis goes, Hudson Hawk Rules, and Breakfast of Champions kicked arse.

That must've been one expensive divorce!
