Starting on Sunday, December 3 all X-Posters should change their avatars to an image of ICEMAN, post interesting ICEMAN threads, and tell funny ICEMAN stories! Celebrate the character of Bobby Drake!

Also be sure to submit a new drawing, no matter how bad, for Draw Me An X: Iceman (http://forums.comicbookresources.com/showthread.php?p=1203657#post1203657)!

At the end of the week we'll reflect on our from-the-ashes fun and vote on the best ICEMAN avatar!

So...use this thread to discuss your anticipation and plans for ICEMAN WEEK! And then on Sunday, let the celebration begin!

I really despise that. Ever since Bachalo returned to Uncanny for the HoM fill-in for Alan Davis, he's been nothing short of spectacular. Before I used to hate the guy, but he cleaned up a million fold after being horrible in between.

*Argh* I want to change my avatar for Iceman week...but am torn as I think I need to leave it at Lockheed since a Survivor Dragon rumbles thread is full of some people that think the little purple guy isn't really a dragon (so the avatar shows differently as a reminder for the naysayers).

I guess I need to go buy some animation software again (my prior downloaded version got toasted) and make a Lockheed/Iceman flip version avatar.

I love this thread simply because everyone can showcase their avatars.

My favorite artist to draw Iceman was Whilce (sp?) Portacio (see the first page of the thread). Bobby just looks so clean and smooth- like an iceman should look. I remember back in 7th grade there were a bunch of dipshit guys in my class who tried to argue that the Silver Surfer was an X-man.
