This show's been one of my guilty pleasures since it premiered. Weird, given I couldn't get into the O.C.
As soapy as the show is, it has some pretty good acting, some great characters, and some intense plotlines.
Tonight's episode...wow. A total heartbreaker-cliffhanger. [spoil]Haley not only has pregnancy troubles, but she's run down by Nathan's loan-shark people. Whom in turn is killed either due to his own car crash or to Nathan's punches afterward...we can't be sure. But in a shocking turn, Dan stops Nathan and then owns up to the loan-shark guy's death when the cops show up. Then, while dealing with the medics, Lucas' heart gives out. I thought he'd be fine if he made it throught the basketball game. And now it doesn't look like Haley will even live ot have her and Nathan's son.[/quote] Definitley pulling the heartstrings. Great episode.
