Dark Horse:
Ghost in the Shell:Man-Machine Interface #2: Just as good in comic form, take that pmpknface. :D And issue 1 was actually pretty easy to follow.
Vampire Hunter D, Vol 6: Pilgrimage of the Sacred and the Profane: I still have volume 5 to read, but they're pretty light reading. I'll get to these eventually.
DC:
52 Week 30: Still good, blah blah blah. Hard to think of something new to say. Looks like we catch up with Batman this week. We've seen Superman earlier, we'll see Batman this week, are they going to do an issue catching up with Wonder Woman?
Aquaman #46: Picking this up till Busiek leaves. I love the writing and art though, and last issue was a nice wrap up to the first main story. This is another one where the last issue just came out a few weeks ago. Nice to see the book back on schedule.
Green Lantern #15: I'll put a question mark next to this one. I dropped it from my pull list, but I might pick up through the end of this arc.
Marvel:
Nextwave #10: Coming to an end which sucks. It was good while it lasted though.
Powers #21: Wait a minute, it hasn't been six months between issues. Are we sure this isn't a mistake?
Ultimate Power #2: Hopefully this issue won't have a two page spread interupted by an ad. Liked the first issue though.
Viz Entertainment LLC:
Shonen Jump, Jan 06: Had to make sure to add the LLC to the company name. I think I still need to finish the last issue. Fun stuff though. Nice and light. Worth $5 for Naruto, One Piece, Hikaru No Go, and Yu Yu Hakusho.

Good to know goman! ;) I've only read the 1st GitS vol, and passed on the 2nd one the month it was 1st out because of lack of $. However I will get to it - promise!
I think that the lack of WW may have to do with the lack of regular WW issues. I think it was in one of Rich's LitG columns that the 52 writers don't know what to do w/ WW because they don't know what's happening in the regular title! I could be wrong though. Feel free to shoot me down if I'm wrong...

Yeah, GitS 2 is kind of confusing, but it's in either full-color or mostly full color, and Shiro's use of the computer in making the book is really interesting and beautiful. The story kind of makes sense by the end, but it's a bit of a slog. The art is totaly worth it. I think Black Magic is the only time that an anime version of Shiro's work went out of it's way to look like his art, and I think his art is great. I can't wait to get those new Appleseed trades. Confession though, I need to buy the first trade of GitS. I might end up buying it soon.
You're probably right about WW in 52. You would think that they'd have enough of an outline for the first story that they could show a bit of her. It just seems like they would try to work something in. They've still got 20+ issues left though, so they should be able to fit it in.

Ahhh........ Black Magic... I only have that on VHS, and I'm not sure my VCR works anymore! D'oh!
Because I mentioned it in the last podcast, Jim Balent's Spellarella appears in a backup of the newest TAROT issue, and this is this month's alt cover:

Jim also does a Red Sonja cover for #16 (http://app.quicksizzle.com/get.link?linkid=307485&subscriberid=24447805&campaignid=101553&linkurl=http://www.dynamiteentertainment.com/htmlfiles/p-C106668.html):

Am I allowed to admit that I'd be the first in line to buy Red Sonja if Jim Balent ended up penciling an issue or two or arc of the book?

But her right breast is about three times the size of her left! Must make shopping for the perfect-fitting chain mail bra a real pain.

Trip, there is no shame in that at ALL! Do you read TAROT at all? You can say what you want about the content, but man... every page is just jammed full of art! The layouts, colors, and angles he provides are top notch. He really puts as much as you can fit into 22 pages, does it every other month ON TIME, and even throws some bonus stuff in there too.
Augie - I think it's more of a perspective thing, as "leftie" is facing you and "rightie" is off to the side, but that's a good one! Finding comfortable chain mail has gotta be tough, let alone different cup sizes.
Although, I'd think wielding a sword against a dragon with your HANDS TIED has gotta be even tougher! :D
