I know you can play some games from the original Xbox on the 360 but can you save the game or are you forced to start from the beginning every time?

Yes you can save the game.

But you can't use your save from the original Xbox. You'll have to start a new game.

Thanks, some research I was doing into the system kind of made it sound like you wouldn't be able to save the game at all, so thanks for the info.

Ah. It struck me as kind of a weird question, but the internet being the vast collection of mostly unreliable second-hand information that it is, all makes sense now.

That would be some right crap backwards compatibility if you couldn't save your game. I mean, what would be the point? There's a serious dearth of good Xbox games as it is.

Thats exactly how I feel, I thought it would be stupid not to be able to and thats why I came here and asked just to make sure.
