Now that looks *really* nice. I don't care much for the other King Tractor titles I've seen so far, but if that book manages to keep up this style and pair it with an interesting story, it'll be a must-have.

this looks really smooth! Who's writing; what's the script like? Me, it reminds me of Akiko (which I miss--where are you Mark Crilley?!), and I certainly hope it's got the same high quality writing to match the obvious beauty of the graphics.

Nippon is written by David Berman. He's actually a comedian and filmmaker (directed some shows, stand-up, TV & Film etc.) but he had this story which is unlike anything he normally does. So I annoyed him enough to let me give it a go. I got Michael on board and so far so good.

Althalus - Sorry we haven't been a big hit with you, but hopefully you'll like some of our 2007 offerings. While Family Bones and Devil Water should be finishing up their runs, we'll be starting four new titles in '07. Nippon is just the first. As I did with ALECTO, I'm also working on at least one European License for '07 from a successful British writer.
