...horror movies I've ever seen was 2001 Maniacs! Stars Robert Englund as the mayor of this backwards, southern town. If you love horror movies that are laughable, you'll love this movie.

I thought this was a great movie. Englund rocked, the gore was well executed, and it really was a funny movie.

I don't know if the original 2000 Maniacs was anything like this one. I know the storyline is basically parallel, but I think that's about it.

Really, if you love horror, or are looking for some decent splatter effects, this movie's worth a shot.
