You've probably seen the top 25 cartoons of all time on IGN's website. What's everybody think here?
Please remember I could only put ten choices. So keep the criticizing of these choices to a minimum ;) please.

It's just impossible to choose between Space Ghost and Futurama.

My vote's for the folks of Southpark. The series started off years ago as relatively funny. Now its just hilarious. This new season is incredible.

I couldn't agree with you more, how much better the show has become I mean. They have an uncanny ability to take current events and put morbidly funny comedic twists into their shows.......kind of along the same line as Law and Order...

I said Justice League, but Space Ghost Coast to Coast is right behind it.

Space Ghost Coast to Coast (correct me if I'm wrong), was really the start behind what is now Adult Swim. It has been VERY influential.

JLU
They just got almost every DC icon exactly right.
And it wins IMO for the greatest superhero fight ever put on film.
Superman vs Captain Marvel.

SouthPark for being hilariously funny and dealing with mainstream topics at the same time.
FUTURAMA
I'm surprised DUCKMAN made the list.

LOL, I guess I put Duckman on the list because it was known as somewhat of an edgy or vulgar cartoon when it first came out.
You have to admit, it was somewhat of an innovation........er......

Agreed, especially about the Superman vs. Captain Marvel fight!! Though Batman: TAS was the show that kicked started the DCAU.
So it's tie between those two.

Oh, I definately enjoy the show. I just didn't think it had much of a following. I'd buy the DVDs if they ever came out.

Given the extreme limitations, couldn't one have been other?

This is a tough one. There are so many great cartoons out there that it's difficult to pick. Ultimately, there are the comedic cartoons, and the action cartoons. If I had to choose comedic, it would be Simpsons or classic Looney Tunes. For action, it would either be Justice League (which I am counting JLU as a part of) or Samurai Jack. From these choices, I will pick Justice League.
But really though, it all depends on the hour of the day.

I voted South Park. IMO its the best simply because what they've done and how they've done it.

Batman TAS followed by Futurama and JLU.
Predator

Just wanted to say that I think Reboot deserves a mention as well.
Hannibal

Well, I picked Justice League-though I really hated the fact that it went PC and omitted the "Of America" portion, w/cshouldn't have happened.
I like JLU the best because it really showcased a lot of great characters over its run like Green Arrow, Zatanna, The Blackhawks,e ven Sgt. Rock! Wished they used the Unknown Soldier and the Human Target, though, not to mention Uncle Sam and the Freedom Fighters. :)
I also liked it bc for the most part it was serious. Granted the Flash's constant joking is overboard at times-Barry Allen's the Best Flash- and the final episode was great with Superman/Batman (AKA DC's World's Finest) and Lex Luthor thwarting Darkseid. It really worked in cartoon form.

I have never seen an episode of Justice League?
Honestly, is it better than Batman: The Animated Series?
............honestly now.....?

Personally, I find them equal in terms of animation and level of content-meaning they're done seriously. I wish they did GI Joe that seriously in the 1980s.
Granted it has some flaws-all 'toons do- such as making the Flash a sometime jerk -Barry Allen was definitely the better scarlet speedster- but it was definitely a great cartoon show. WB should've given it at least 2 more seasons.
I particularly liked the way Destroyer -the last JLU episode- wrapped up with the JLAers moving out, with that last shot of DC's key icons-Superman, Batman & Wonder Woman in the final shot. (I'm a big GI JOE fan, and I wish they ended Marvel/Sunbow's GI Joe cartoon that way with , of course, Hawk, Scarlett & Snake Eyes given the last shot.
No offense, but I never liked the Joe cartoon giving command to Duke & Flint)

You're seriously asking me to choose only one show from FAMILY GUY, FUTURAMA, B:TAS, SOUTH PARK and JUSTICE LEAGUE.
Really..............
Damn it. :p
