OT: Why so much spam in the NE Board lately?

Really, I hate to have to bring this up, but almost each time I log in here lately, I find some lame spam often dealing with sex and lowbrow commercials.

Luckily, it's all erased very soon, but can't we do something to prevent this from continuing? Might it be a single spammer with multiple aliases?

Yeah I've noticed that too.....it's weird that it seems to be more on THESE boards than the other ones on these forums. I don't know why people do that, no one pays attention to that crap and it just annoys people.

What's weird is there has been more spam in the last week than we had all of last year.

And yes, it's being looked into.

I have never understood why some people seem to find it necessary to piss in random people's bowls of cheerios. It's like some folks have this "Random Act of Ugliness" thing they think is funny, or cute, or that gives them a sense of power. The reality is, it just goes to show how pathetic the person is, and how little they think of themselves.

If you have to try to ruin strangers' enjoyment, just to feel good, you have no life of your own, and you're utterly wasting the time you have on this Earth.
