I have some really saddening news.

One of my old friends from School died this week. Her name was Laura, and it is hard to imagine a nicer person. A couple of years ago -when she was 17 or so- she was diagnosed with cancer. She almost managed to beat it a couple of times, but unfortunately her immune system, weakened by struggle, fell to a nasty infection.

In September, she married her soulmate Alan, who is (as one would imagine) absolutely devastated. As Laura was a good woman, Alan was a good man, and I really feel for him right now. I can't imagine what he is going through.

I was at the funeral today, and -as sad as I was- to see someone so young laid to rest, it was such a beautiful service, it was nice to see many recognisable faces come together in rememberence of Laura, and in support of her family.

I would appreciate if anybody could join me in a prayer for her family, her close friends, and particularly her Husband of 68 days Alan. They shure would appreciate the thoughts right now.

Thanks

I'm very sorry, Blair. I hope you're dealing with it okay.

I'll certainly pray for her, her husband, and friends like yourself.

I'm ok. I believe that through Christ, life is eternal, and that although her mortal life may be at an end, she will have ascended to the post-mortal life, the spiritual life, the better life.

I'll certainly pray for her, her husband, and friends like yourself.
Many thanks. This is much appreciated.

Sorry for your loss dude. No death is good, but to die so young seems a double tragedy. My thoughts and vibes to you and yours. Remember the good times.

I'm not very religious, so you won't catch me praying, for personal reasons, but RIP to her, it's always that much more fucked up when young people die, and I hope that dude can maintain'.

I am sorry for your loss Blair and I'm really sorry for her husband.

My wife and kids are pretty much my whole life and losing any of them would be a tragedy that I just don't think I could live with.

My thoughts are with you all.
