Firefox 2.0 Google Toolbar Question

How do I remove the auto complete function from the google toolbar on the right hand corner in Firefox? I know this isn't the person place to put this question but I couldn't find anywhere else to put it. Oh will removing the google toolbar than redownloading it clear it are or no?

Are you talking about the actual google toolbar or just the inherent search function? If it's the latter, just right click on the box and click on the "show suggestions". It should have already been checked, and that will take it off.

If it's the former, I couldn't tell you. I don't allow third party "toolbars" on my computer. Usually full of spyware and/or adware.

Dunno, I just assume, it's safer. I have no use for such things, anyway.
