“Intergalactic Law” Sticks Around for Round Two of Webcomic Idol
Tucson, AZ, 11/20/06 — Intergalactic Law has survived round one of Bombshelter Comics’ Webcomic Idol contest, and has moved on to round two.
Webcomic Idol is structured similarly to Big Brother, with Intergalactic Law as Dr. Will: comics are getting voted out of the house. Rather than voting for your favorite webcomic in the top ten, you are voting for your LEAST favorites to be taken out of the running. Votes can be cast at http://www.bombsheltercomics.com/vote.php.
Intergalactic Law is a sci-fi series with a twisted, comedic heart, chronicling the cases and attorneys of the aforementioned law firm. The attorneys and their clients represent a cross-section of species from the known galaxy; however, their cases reflect issues that affect anyone, no matter what their species: wrongful termination, breech of contract, mirror universe clone army invasion. The ambience of Intergalactic Law is as if Boston Legal and Babylon 5 met up in an alley after having a few drinks, and proceeded to beat up The Venture Bros.

Intergalactic Law is the creation of John Dallaire and Lisa Fary. John Dallaire has over ten years of experience in commercial illustration and graphic design. He does art and illustration work for many casinos and resorts in Las Vegas. Lisa Fary graduated from the creative writing program at Florida State University and promptly put those skills to work as a waitress, writing dinner orders at a restaurant featuring Rocky Mountain oysters. ??The creators of Intergalactic Law are excited about this recognition and hopes to use it to draw more readers from outside the usual comics community.
