Random question. When you go back issue bin diving, how do you keep up with the issues that you are looking for? From memory? Books scribbled on a piece of paper? Or are you more high tech than me? Database thrown into a Treo/Blackberry that you can pull up at any time?

I'm low-tech here. I HAD a database that kept some stuff, but when my computer crashed that electronic version went with it. I may have an older backup somewhere I have to look for though... but I do have a paper copy!
Here's what I do... I have a paper listing of my Marvel Comics collection. I list what I OWN instead of what I need/want. I carry that around with me and then look up specific issues I want to buy if I think need them.
What I may also do is make the front page of that mini-bible a list of things to target. For example, that page may have:
Fantastic Four 100 - 140
Defenders 33, 75-100
Spidey issues
etc...
because they are what I'm focusing on. But it is all in paper, and not electronic.

A little late on this, but hey, the holidays always cause delays. Here's what I picked up.
PREVIEWS VOL XVI #12: Looked through a bit, saw some good stuff in the Dark Horse section, but haven't gone much past there.
DC/Vertigo:
52 Week 29: Read this one. Another decent issue, but no origin back up. Nice to see what the JSA was up to.
Jack of Fables #5: Haven't read yet, but will be one of the first to read after work today.
Supergirl and the Legion of Superheroes #24: Haven't read yet. Still a great read, one of my favorites that's not being talked about a lot. Consistently great. They need to bring back the letter column though.
Y, the Last Man-Vol 8: Haven't read yet, but looking forward to it. Looks good though.
Image:
Cassanova #6: Haven't read yet. Crazy stuff, can't wait to read it.
Pirates of Coney Island #2(of 8): Probably one of the last I'll read, but we'll see if they can explain what was going on in the first issue.
Marvel:
Captain America: Red Menace Vol 2: Read it. A little light, only four issues, but some good action, and some decent plot development. I wonder how many issues Burbaker has planned for the whole Lukin/Winter Soldier story. it's all good so far though.
Civil War:Frontline #8: Haven't read yet. Nice cover. Should be decent, although I guess this issue will have ads in it, unlike the previous issues. Hopefully there won't be too many.
Runaways #22: Haven't read. The start of BKV's final arc. Tear. I kind of can't wait for Whedon to start though. Flipped through the stores preview copy last week and kind of spoiled the ending, but it looks pretty good.
X-Factor #13: Read it last night. Decent issue, I remember reading the old issue this ties into when it first came out. They should have included that issue either with this one in the back or done a cheap reprint. The bit with Rahne was very interesting.
Punisher War Journal #1 Haven't read yet. Wasn't sure if I pre-ordered this or not, but it showed up in my box. Glad it did as a lot of people seem to have liked it. Sitting on top of my stack to be read.
Viper Comics:
Dead@17 #2: Haven't read yet. I'm giving this another few issue try out to see if it's decent. Like the art though, so we'll see.
