I have not really listened to them since 2003. How has their newer stuff been since then? They were kind of starting to sound the same with each new album. Each one sounded kind of like the last one. I still like their music. Just wondering if anyone else does. They've kind of fallen off the face of the Earth.

Strangely enough, I haven't really listened to Radiohead in ages.
Similarly, I bought the last Tool album, but probably listened to it a couple of times at best. Nothing's compelling me to listen to them much these days.

Radiohead haven't released a new studio album since 2003, which might explain why they've fallen off the public radar. Thom Yorke, however, released a solo album this year, and I've bought it and enjoyed it.
I don't agree that "they were kind of starting to sound the same with each new album", but it's of course a matter of taste.

This is very strange. I dont listen to Radiohead, but i have a friend that loves them. He just told me on thursday or friday that he had not listened to one of their albums in years. That is just so strange that this topic would be here now.

Ah, Radiohead. I have a weird relationship with their music. For a while there, they were easily my favourite "modern" band and one of the few I really listened to a lot. I'm talking mainly of their easrlier more traditional stuff here but even Hail to the Thief got a few spins in my CD player. As time has gone on though, I find myself liking the band less and less. I still think they have a good grasp of melody but two things about them bug me: 1) I don't like their rockers - it's just rock and roll done in a style that I'm not all that fond of (very grunge like). 2) I hate the whining! Yorke has a great voice at times but my tolerence for mopey, whiney music has just gotten less and less that it's reached the point where I just can't listen to these guys all that much anymore.

I just put my iTunes on shuffle so songs from Kid A and The Bends will crop up eventually but I rarely ever specifically seek them out.

I had forgotten about the solo album he put out. I will have to check that out. I wonder if that means the band has broken up.

Are we still talking about Radiohead? They've spent the best part of the years touring and they have a new album out next year. No, the band has not broken up. In fact, this is what Thom Yorke said about his album "The Eraser":
"I want no crap about me being a traitor or whatever splitting up blah blah... this was all done with their blessing, and I don't wanna hear that word solo. It doesn't sound right"

and their performance at bonnaroo is widely considered by hipsters to be the best concert of the 21st century thus far.
