PlayStation Magazine is going under. January is its last issue:

Didn't this one include covers from comics professionals like Joe Mad, J. Scott Campbell, et. al.?

Yeah, that seemed to be the only place Mad was doing any regular work for a long time.
I'd heard it was the "Official" Playstation Magazine that was going under though, not PSM (which was a different monthly). I actually thought PSM went under a while ago.

No wonder he started drawing comics again... he must have smelled trouble brewing...

Can anyone confirm which magazine it is? Is it Playstation Magazine, or The Official Playstation Magazine? I'm at work, and unfortunately that means any and all remotely game-related sights are firewalled, so I can't check for myself.

Sorry for the confusion -- it's OPM, the OFFICIAL PLAYSTATION MAGAZINE, from Ziff Davis.

I'm not sure how much work Mad did for that one, since I never read it on a regular basis. I THINK he mostly worked with PSM, which was kinda the flashier, "indier" of the two magazines.

So my question mark was well warranted. I saw LeSean Thomas doing artwork for one of those magazines in the bookstore last week. I don't have a PlayStation -- I just occasionally scan those magazines for the comic book artists.

Is PSM still being published? I used to subscribe back in the days before the PS2 (somehow ended up with a free eight month subscription as a promotion), but I kinda stopped reading it for a while, and hadn't heard of it since.
