I hope Stardust is actually alive.
He's the prettiest Herald.

FYI, the Terrax story also reveals the fates of Paibok and the Delinquent!

Is that another De'Otto cover? Damn that is NICE. Annihilation is proving to be a great story in itself, and a great jumping off for new stories and a new status quo for the Marvel Universe.
And is it me or does Galactus look like he's got a new collar/neck harness? Looking a *little* more Voltron/Transformer. But then again, De'Otto covers have had a good amount of artistic license.

Maybe being used as a living weapon gave him whiplash.

I hope so- maybe it'll Red Shift & Firelord? It does say book 1 of 2. Or maybe Galactus' new heralds:
RONAN & SUPER-SKRULL!

I do believe your right! Which will be awesome.
Interesting creative team. I would assume that the second book would be Red Shift/Firelord, yes. Or one of them and Surfer. Galactus has to be holding something in his other hand.

I'm pretty sure Andy has said the second book'll be Surfer/Firelord. The former will deal with the Tenebrous and Aegis situation; the latter will deal with Firelord's new role as a galactic peacekeeping agent.

I could have sworn when the books were originally annouced it was supposed to be Firelord/Terrax and Silver Surfer/Star Dust. Oh well I just hope Stardust survived. He has the most interesting design for a herald since Terrax. I like that he doesn't look at all human but rather like some kind of aquatic like creature. Keeping the herald list to the Surfer, Firelord, Terrax and Stardust would be fine with me. Red Shift can stay dead.

THey can't die unless Galactus kills them.

THey can't die unless Galactus kills them.
Where does it say that? Because that would mean that Nova II/Frankie Raye is still alive, since she was killed by Morg.
THey can't die unless Galactus kills them.
Not true. Any Herald of Galactus can die, but it takes a great power of concussive force to actually do any damage. For instance, the Air-Walker died when the Ovoids turned their weapon--meant for Galactus himself--onto Gabriel Lan. As a result, Air-Walker died.
Galactus could have saved Air-Walker's life; however, Galactus was short on energy. By the time he consumed another planet, Air-Walker's lifeforce already left him. Galactus did place a portion of Air-Walker's "soul" in a robotic duplicate of Air-Walker, but it was not the same.
Galactus stripped Terrax of his cosmic powers in Fantastic Four #243 because he tired of Terrax's constant rebellion. Usually, Galactus allows his former Heralds to keep their cosmic powers as he did the Silver Surfer & Firelord.

Don't forget that Morg killed Nova, too, without Galactus' consent.

Is Fallen One going to show up in any of these books, I mean if Tenebrous and Aegis turned him into their own herald then thats a good fight for Silver Surfer while Galactus deals with those two.

It's left somewhat ambiguous, but I think the implication is that they drained him of power and killed him.

Didn't Andy say in the Ask Andy thread somewhere that the Fallen One was dead?
