Hi everyone, Nina Kincaid here again to let everyone know that Tad was kind enough to give us a follow-up interview after the Hellboy: Sword of Storms premiere. In it, he drops some hints about his upcoming projects... including one with our favorite big red demon!

Tad:
In the meantime, I’ve been approached to guide the animated adventures of another comic book hero, one of the biggest in comics in fact. But no deals have been signed yet
Mike:
Good stuff in the interview, sucks about the water heater though..there's no good spin to put on something like that.
As to the above quote, i'm finding myself truly stumped, as the Dc main francihers seem to be in good hands already, and another Spider-man animated show would seem to me to be overkill..he's had 10 or more..Tad, any more possible hints?

YAY third movie! Boo water heater!
Can understand how Cartoon Network feels pulled in two directions. Most parents I know here in the 'burbs think CN is just kids' stuff 24/7.
They are quite surprised when I tell them what their kiddos might be watching.
But, I am counting the minutes until February and then will happily buy the DVD. Gives me something to look forward to after December!!
As usual Tad, you rock, and I want that T-shirt!!
Andrea
No hints until names are on the dotted line.

Whoo-hoo for the movie, boo for the repair man, he totally missed out.
I did my part advertising with everyone I had been poking to start reading Hellboy, and about a dozen of those watched, plus a few others who just hapepned to have CN on when it started and kept watching, much to their joy (and mine!)
Hmm, I wonder what the other big comic star you'll be working on is...but I'm a patient woman and will wait til the official announcement ;)
Great interview....i want to know THE NEW PROJECT IS:mad: ...
Like I said, not til something is signed. Meanwhile Film Roman is offering me something too that could be fun ... a comic character I read as a kid which was resurrected in the nineties and even had a video game or two. So you see why I can't announce the "next" project because I don't know what it's going to be.
Unfortunately timing is rarely right. Instead of being able to choose between projects in a calm reasonable way you're always gambling between the bird in the hand and the ones in the bush.

...our water heater decided to break at 2am and spill forty gallons of hot water on the floor. Luckily my wife was up working on a writing project. Much sponging and mopping followed but the wood floor will never be the same. The repairman turned out to be a Darkwing Duck fan but we didn’t get a break on the bill...
What Tad doesn't mention is that he had a whole bunch of these Darkwing Duck toys floating around in the puddles on his floor. The repairman couldn't help but notice:

To compound Tad's unfortunate misfortune, while I was searching for that duck image, I discovered there is Darkwing Duck slash fiction.

Darkwing Duck slash fiction. Oh the Internets, source of sooooooo many things that I could have pleasantly gone through life not knowing about and been blessed in my ignorance.

Well, Mike, let's just say...sometimes when a man duck and another man duck (or two women ducks) love each other very much...they, uh, put some Smokey Robinson on the hi-fi...and...drink a little champagne...light some candles...and, well, then they get some tapioca pudding, 4 AA batteries, a cement garden gnome, a pink tutu (size XL) and a tire pressure gauge...and...oh, I think you get the idea.

Not surprised. There is Care Bear slash fiction, my poor ex co-worker found out one day. People scare me sometimes...I mean all the time.

Slim to none, I'd think. But you'll get plenty of Mike covers. Mike is SUPER excited about the stories he has cooking. The Helliverse could really explode with opportunities for many, many covers.
