It's still going.
I don't read it but it seems to be quite popular.

Not sure how it's doing sales wise though.

It's a great title, and it keeps getting better and better. You should think about picking it up.

Quesada said the current Moon Knight title has been selling better than any of the previous ones.

I've said it before, I'll say it again. It's OK not to like Huston's Moon Knight. Just know, if you don't, you're a pansie.

I hope it's doing well since it's one of my favorite titles at the moment.

That's an incorrect statement. When I talked to Doug Moench last year, he informed me that his Moon Knight series, even when it was in direct sales only, was selling around 90,000 copies. He also put it in perspective by telling me that Batman at the time was only selling 45,000+ copies. This Moon Knight series is selling around 40,000 copies a month.

I'm really liking this title. Some parts are a bit offsetting but I'm still enjoying most of it. I've been recommending it to anybody that asks about it.

You are completely & totally incorrect, according to the numbers for the Huston/Finch Moon Knight-->40+k a month is absolutely wrong. Check ICV2 and/or the reports each month from newsarama. Who fed you those numbers? DC?

pwned.

Yeah, I also noticed those TOTALLY off numbers. Moon Knight is selling WAY more than than 40K.

28. MOON KNIGHT
04/06 #1 - 114,533
05/06 #2 - 77,552 (-32.3%)
06/06 #3 - 72,206 ( -6.9%)
07/06 —
08/06 #4 - 67,802 ( -6.1%)
09/06 #5 - 64,736 ( -4.5%)

Yeah. I enjoy the new Moon Knight series, but I hate how people who don't are totally trying to make it seem inferior by saying how this run or that run is far superior. I mean I totally get people aren't happy that this creative team isn't doing what the prior ones did, but that doesn't invalidate that a good amount of people are enjoying the arc. Can't we all just get a long?

lol.

64 K is not bad at all. It's more than, for example, New X-men, and one talks about cancel it. Heck, i think it's more than Daredevil!

Hopefully Finch and Huston can maintain that number. It's "officially" an on-going right? I am never sure because it launched as a mini.

Yes, it is officially an ongoing, and Marvel is currently VERY happy with its sales.

But it's not up to the original run standards, but it's ok.

But then again MK can never be like that again, so it's wrong to compare it.
But it's often that way when i comes to favorite runs, nothing new is good enough.

Agreed, the old MK was something special (I especially liked him in WCA)

The old Moon Knight stuff is amazing. Doug Moench did an excellent job with it. If you never have read the old stuff pick up Essential Moon Knight, an awesome book. The new MK is pretty good in my opinion, I think everyone who is interested in the character should pick it up.

I do like the older MK (especially in WCA), but the new series just seems a bit grittier. Also liking 'seeing' more of Khonshu. :evilsmile

(BTW any ideas on what the Profiler saw? (Issue 6))

I think he probably saw Khonshu inside of Marc. He is his avatar. I think he saw how twisted Marc really is inside, maybe something Marc doesn't even know about himself yet. What about you?

Well acording to the latest ish, talking about Marc and Khonshu is an oxymoron.
Its like saying rosie thinks one way and o'donnel thinks another.

And personally, I am LOVING this series.

I loved all of the old series, and I'm loving this current one as well. I'm not even going to compare new vs old as it doesn't matter to me...I'm just happy to have MK back (and very well-written) once again.

I think you could be right, seing Khonshu & all the darkness inside Marc, possibly seing back through to the other MK's
