This Signature Pop Culture event of the Southwest continues to grow.
Our September 2006 Comicon was a tremendous success, bringing
over 2400 fans together, for the largest event of its kind in Arizona.

Our goal is to continue our growth and build on our success as the
Signature Pop Culture event of the Southwest. We are expanding to
include a full slate of programming starting on Friday at 6:00 PM,
adding more events and programming and opening new space for more
Exhibitors and Small Press.

Our attendees were blown away by our fantastic guests in 2006. We have
even more exciting new guests from Anime and Comics, as well as new
media guests. This is a great opportunity to meet and spend time with
your favorite writers, artists, voice actors and other pop culture
favorites.

Phoenix Comicon is also expanding gaming by more than doubling our
space. We've brought in sponsors to deliver more and better equipment
and are working to book gaming related guests. And for die hard gamers
we have an $8 gaming only pass. That's only $8 for two and a half days
of gaming.

Phoenix Comicon is the most family friendly pop culture event in
Arizona. We have many outstanding exhibitors featuring toys, comics,
games, movies and more. Costumed characters and our Masquerade add
mystery and excitement. Our spectacular guests from Comics and Anime
as well as TV and Film will be signing autographs and presenting panels.

Along with all of the old favorites of the Phoenix Comicon like the
Film Festival, the Gothic Lolita Tea Party, the Masquerade, the J
Fashion Show, Comic Book and Anime Trivia contests, art contests and
meet and greet panels with the guests, we have added some new events
for the upcoming 2007 Comicon, such as a Charity Art Auction to be
held on Saturday night and a dance.

The last show was awesome. There were tons of costumers and cosplayers there. The guests were all really nice and happy to sign anything, anytime.

I guess the obvious bit of snark there would be "why?"

Man, I think I'm actually ashamed of myself.
