Carnage would be awesome in that game. And having Powerstone characters tossed in would be mega super sweet too.

I wouldn't mind seeing Ultimate Marvel characters if this game were to come out. They could just be like, alternate costumes for the 616 Marvels or something.

I think this is a FUN topic! I 'd love to see Ghost Rider, Reed Richards, and Thing in a Marvel vs Capcom 3. From Capcom the only person I can think of at the moment would be Nemesis and Viewtiful Joe!

You're forgeting every other character to ever be used in the M v.s C series. If they ever do make a 3rd one (which I hope they do, and great thread by the way:) ) they will take all the programs and characters that have already been developed for the previous games and use them for the "3rd" and add a couple of new characters to the bunch. Its just like how they did it with M vs. C 2. I think X to be playable would be much much better than the regular Mega Man. And kudos to who ever said Dante for the capcom side, that would be a great character to add and I wouldn't be surprised to see him in the next game or as a secret character.

Good choices! I think I'd rather have Zero than X, though. Dante and Viewtiful Joe are also must-haves.

Techno? How the heck was that "I'm gonna take you for a ride" garbage techno? It sounded like fake Big Band music or something.

Edit: oh, you said "techno jazz." I guess that kinda fits whatever that terrible music was.

That said, I'd like to see Dante, Virgil, Thor, Jean Grey, X-man, Deadpool, Moon Knight, Thing, Scarlet Witch, Vision, Invisible Woman, Radioactive Man, and Namor.

Not a character per se, but some stuff I would like...

1. More stages. That was a problem that bugged me about the previous MvC games. Not enough stages. Instead of just 10 stages, there should be at least 30+
2. Too much Jazz=Bad Music for fighting game. I LOVED the soundtrack of the original MvC, but the second was very dissapointing, though I did like some of the songs, it simply did not fit the game itself. Although a little jazz here and there is okay, too many songs that don't fit is a bad thing.
3. STOP BEING SO DAMN LAZY AND ACTUALLY MAKE SOME NEW SPRITES!!!!! Seriously, characters like Morrigan desperately need a upgrade in terms of spriting. I mean, they used the exact same sprite from the first game and just copyed and pasted it on to the next game. This has got to stop. Just make the effort to actually make some new sprites.
4. WTF with the ending in MvC2? Capcom, are you that god damn lazy?! I don't care if it'll take extra effort to make seperate endings for each character! If they all share the same ending, I'll have less motive to beat the game with all of them. See? More endings = more replay value.

Sorry if it sounded like a rant, but I needed to get this thing off my chest. So there, in the extremely unlikely event that they make a Marvel vs. Capcom 3. This list may hopefully improve the overall enjoyment value of the game. No flaming please.

Any suggestions on what need to be tweaked before releasing this game (Which probably will never happen)?

Ex. Game balance, glitches, fixing frame rate issues, dumbing down certain moves.

P.S. In my opinion, lag-free online play sounds awesome.

For the Capcom side, I'd love to see the agent from Ningen Heiki (a.k.a. Dead Fox, a.k.a. Code Name: Viper). He could be a palette swap for a Punisher or Cable playable character. With all the late 1980s/early 1990s remakes/re-releases in the past few years (Narc, Downtown Nekketsu Monogatari/River City Ransom, etc.), I'm surprised Capcom haven't remade next-gen (or even current-gen) version of some of their better side-scrollers.
