Each week we'll have a poll to determine the forum's current feel on a topic. Feel free to submit a poll idea if you have one!

This week we want to know...
Who was the most effective Avengers chairman/leader?

A little more chairman info courtesy of our own Sean McQuaid... (http://www.avengersassemble.us/chair.txt)

Oh come now. Cap takes it by default for me. If he wasn't in it I'd definitely say Wasp though, she was awesome in Avengers Forever and the Kang War.

Agreed, Cap takes it by a mile.

Black Panther and Thor were chairmen? T'Challa I can understand, but...Thor? Were they taking turns that day, or something?

They used to take turns, I believe, back during the days of the original Avengers. They'd have a new leader for each mission. I'm remembering Thor as the leader when the Avengers met the X-Men.

Ya know, I kinda like the idea that Captain America is the best field leader but not the best chairman (which would make Wasp the best).

Definitely Cap, with Wasp a close second. She led the team through some tumultuous times, including the Kang War, The Masters of Evil Siege, and Avengers Forever.

If somebody voted for Doctor Druid they need to have their head checked

I think that was the whole point...

I'm just sorry that this poll is closed now...
It would seem to me that as Civil War closes, there may be some adjustment in perceptions...
