(Sigh) wjhat are they bringing him back for?
Didn't they already kind of bring him back in the 2nd or 3rd arc of Johns' run?

Yeah. Cyborg downloaded him into his brain. Or something like that.

Not a bad ish. Average story arc that seems like it's only purpose was to flesh out a new team and bring Jericho back. I am wondering though if Raven's comments about Kid Devil "looking like her father" forshadow to something upcoming. I also like Cassie catching the plane right before it smacked into the ground, looks like she's going to be the Titans heavy hitter now.

On Comic Bloc there are who seem like they're short of breaking into song and dance now that Jericho is back. Maybe someone here can explain what the big deal is? Jericho was sorta before my time.

Jericho was a Titan in the 80's and Slade's(Deathstroke) son, therefore making him Ravager's brother. Others will hopefully expound upon this for you. If you pick up the first TT arc/tpb that may help you a little.

I'm pretty aware of his general back story/history, I'm more curious as to why he seems to be so popular.

I don't think he is. I think Geoff just likes to drag out old characters for giggles. Not that I mind, so long as it works, and given that Rose is on the team now, Joey coming back might not be so bad.
At any rate, I'm glad Eddie wasn't the traitor, and I'm very glad Miss Martian wasn't the traitor considering how interesting a White Martian hero would be. Now, the question is, if Bombshell is a government sponsored hero (which I'm assuming she is, like Captain Atom was), why did she want Jericho's soul?

She works for the government.
The government has no soul.
See? ;) :p

if Bombshell is a government sponsored hero (which I'm assuming she is, like Captain Atom was), why did she want Jericho's soul? Because she was most likely woking with Deathstroke, the father of Jericho.

I don't really give a damn about Jericho, but it could be fun to have him on the team now that Ravager is a Titan. And I do like Ravager very much, even if her costume is... bad.
I love Ms. Martian!!! I'm so glad she's not the traitor! I kind of predicted it, but I'm glad anyway. She's just so sweet. Kind of like Starfire from the animated version but more sensitive and less unfamilar with Earth's customs.
I'm also ecstatic to have Raven back! She looked lovely this ish. Though Daniels pencils look a lot better before they are inked.
I was really surprised to see Jericho. It wasn't something I saw coming. Looks like he'll be joining the team as well. I'm interested in seeing where that goes.
I was a little disappointed with the art we saw in the DC Nation preview of the Raven miniseries.

Ravager is the most interesting character on the team, so hopefully this leads to even more development for her.
Actually, I thought the traitor was going to turn out to be Eddie, what with the discovered phone calls et al. I wasn't really sure if Geoff would have the guts to do that though, given the interest his placement on the team has generated for his character.

I must admit I am starting to like her too...
Can Ms Martain still join the team now... It would be nice if she stayed there.
Is she scared of her own people, and hiding on earth.

Jericho was pretty unique, which is always welcome. He couldn't speak, and usually communicted with the Titans through sign language. He possessed people, which is a neat power, and when he did he could speak through their voice, even picking up their various speech patterns. He was a pretty good gymnast and fighter, although he tried to avoid violence. And he was a ladies' man in every sense of the word. Seriously, he got more women than I've had hot meals.
I certainly wouldn't mind the return of an old friendly face. I realize I'm in the minority, but Ravager and Kid Devil don't do it for me, and I dislike Wonder Girl.

Good issue, but... can we trade back Raven and Jericho for Secret and Arrowette?

I kill you.
Well, I would like to see what's up with Secret and Arrowette these days, but I don't want them swapped with anyone else on the team. Especially not Raven! No Raven makes Pyro angry. I'm glad she's back.
One thing that bugs me is how similar Arrowette and Speedy are. I mean, I like them both and they are different characters (i.e. It was a good move not to take Arrowette and make her Speedy because it wouldn't have worked). But I don't know, on the surface they are really too similar.

I know, and now they're on the freakin' team! Get muttonchops outta there, and Raven, you can... go hang out in Nightwing's book or whatever.
Seriously, something is drastically wrong in a world where Dani Moonstar can't be on the X-Men and gets depowered, but Jericho gets to come back to life and rejoin a team. Bleh.

I think that's unlikely. I'm not sure who she's working for, but I'm rather hoping it's the U.S. govt. Last issue I said I didn't think Bombshell would be the traitor, because having the traitor be the one that accused Rose would be just... way too obvious. Well, I was wrong, and this issue was a letdown for it. I like the idea of a few govt. sponsored heroes that will fight to save the day 99% of the time, but will stand by the govt. on those days when the military is against the superheroes. Right now I don't see a way to make her a remotely interesting "traitor" any other way, and I welcome the idea of an "army girl" superhero if only because Marvel has apparently screwed their one up royally. Why would the govt. want Jerico's soul? Well it was in "digital" form, so maybe they thought they could turn it into a computerized weapon? Or hold it for ransom against Deathstroke?
Jerico. Oh no. Oh PLEASE no. No soulful staring at Raven as she monologues, no hippy guitar solos to show he's an artistic soul without any other voice, no flashbacks to the hair that wanted to eat my brain. Jerico was a dark blight on the early days of the Titans, his return makes me very sad indeed.
