Invalid Thread Specified

When my login times out before I can finish a message, I have to re-login when I press Reply or Preview. If I choose not to log in and go Back, my message will still be in the text box (unless I was using Quick Reply... ouch).

Once I re-login, I get an Invalid Thread Specified message. If I choose Reply, the message gets posted. If I choose Preview, IIRC I lose the message.

The Invalid Thread Specified problem didn't used to happen, though, so I'm wondering if it's fixable?

It may be attempting to call up a page which is already cached in your browser but you can't access because of the login/logout thing.
Try emptying your browser's cache and internet temp files - let us know if that fixes it.

I do clear those out from time to time, but I've seen the problem consistently for a while now (i.e., many months). I thought it might've come with one of the board upgrades.

Well, I'll try to be careful :) The only case where you definitely lose your message is if you spend too long on a Quick Reply and then try Previewing it.
