This is going to be a very disappointing week for some, as there have been a few cancellations. I'm expecting most people to be furious over the delay on Absolute New Frontier. Hopefully that will be out next week. Green Lantern Corps is also delayed. Nice week otherwise. Nothing BIG this week, but certainly a lot of good stuff.

I'll be picking up:
52 Week #27 - Always a welcome read
Batman #658 - Getting really tired of this arc, but maybe Morisson will surprise us yet.
Green Arrow Vol 3 #68 - I've said it a million times now, but I am DUMPING the title if this issue doesn't win me over.
Green Lantern Vol 4 #14 - eh. Haven't enjoyed it since pre-OYL, but I'll keep hoping.
Teen Titans Vol 3 #40 - The only one I'm truly looking forward to this week.

52 is always interesting just because you wonder where the characters will go and end up as well as setting up OYL stuff really well. Batman is picking up steam with the whole Damien/Robin rivalry, GL has been picking up since Cyborg Superman showed up, Kurt's Superman has been very solid with beautiful art and Geoff's Teen Titans roster being in flux makes it exciting even though I'd like to see a more permanent and diverse roster.

BTW what's the general concensus on Martian Manhunter? I dig the new costume but he's been on a real anger trip lately that looks like it'll be remembered as his bad "angsty days" but supposedly 52 is going to explain that.

It's been solid.

The book got REAL good for me when the Doom Patrol guest starred. The weakest was the one with Red Star (#38) since the art wasn't that great and Red Star isn't a character worth revisiting past this issue but even then it averaged to about good. I'd give it a try, I think it's been getting to that level it was when it first started and we saw a mix of old and new blood make a compelling team and interplay between them.

I agree completely. I look/flip through most of the comics on the new comics wall at my comic book shop. I don't think the owners mind me doing it because they have never said anything about it, and I also do get 7-10 comics everytime I come in...
