Anybody listen to these guys? They're a sort of modern prog rock band. They're rhythm section is gone now.

Hmmm...Well, I think they're kind of a mix between punk (maybe pop-punk for some songs), Led Zeppelin-esque music, and a little Rush-esque at times, too. I'd suggest you go look up their song "Welcome Home." It's my favorite of theirs. "Willing Well IV: The Final Cut" is also a good one.

I'm not the biggest fan. My friends like them more than I do. The first album's still the best one (second stage turbine blade), though silent earth is good as well. I grabbed burning star IV, heard it, liked what I liked, and put it away.
I got to see them in Austin. Good show.
I know the singer is doing a solo album, but I don't think the other guys left. They just had a release party for their dvd on Halloween.
If you can put up with Geddy Lee's voice, you can deal with this guys'.

The other guys are gone. Yes, I know about Prize Fighter Inferno. Yes, Mic and Josh are gone. No, Coheed isn't done for, they're finding replacements. They gotta finish that story, ya know!

The lead singer of the band (whose name escapes me right now) is nowhere near as bad as Geddy Lee. No one is. Heck Geddy Lee right now isn't nearly as bad as Geddy Lee was in the seventies.

I used to have one of Coheed and Cambria's CDs - Second Stage Turbine Blade. It was OK.

Diff'rent strokes. I can think of plenty of vocalists for so-called "modern rock" and "alt-rock" bands on the radio today who don't hold a candle to any "stage" of Geddyvocals. But then, he's one of my favorite singers. ;)
