So, I'm looking for a list of the various gadgets Batman has used in comics, preferably including any specialized suits and vehicles as well. I don't suppose there's a website that catologues this stuff, is there?

EDIT: Since I'm making my own list now, please list anything you can think of, from belt gadgets to special suits, to vehicles, but only what has appeared in comics.

I guess we could start one here. If your willing to compile a master list at the end I'd bet you'll get lots of takers to pool our knowledge.

I'm not a 100% but I think there was a thread a while ago where people covered a lot of his gadgets.

Yeah, I'd totally be up for that.

this one? (http://forums.comicbookresources.com/showthread.php?t=138468)Eh. I'm reading through it now, and it seems mostly the joke stuff from the Adam West TV show and cartoons. I'm looking for the stuff he used in the comics themselves.

There is batmobilehistory.com which chronicalizes all the batmobiles that batman used/uses. Even from Batman Beyond and the elseworlds stories.

I'd say start a new thread with a better title, like "Help Compile Master List of Batman Tech" and make it clear in the post you only want Comic tech not TV or Movie stuff.

Not a bad idea. I changed this threads title, maybe it will help.

Ok well I guess I'll get the ball rolling, but I'm probably going to miss a ton of stuff so I guess people can use this list as a template and just add things to it as they think of them

Items on his person and not specifically on his belt:

suit composed of a Kevlar/Nomex biweave(I feel like such a geek saying that!)

Lockpicking tools(often seen kept in his gloves or his boots)

Mini jets in boots for faster swimming

one time use tazer running through suit

mace sprayer in mask activated by attempted removal by someone other than batman

Sonic device for summoning bats

Blow gun and darts

weights in the tips of his cape that can be used as offensive weapons

Items in the belt:

rebreathers

gas masks

nose filters

grapnel gun

batarangs

smoke pellets

lazers

explosives(including explosive batarangs)

flashlight

fingerprint kit

handcuffs(traditonal metal ones as well as simpler plastic ties)

various chemicals(including at least once, agent orange)

Binoculars

notepad w/sticky notes with his bat logo on it(no really, how many times has he left someone a little note with his logo on it? What's up with that?)

kryptonite ring

Items too big to carry in belt or otherise on his person, but that he's known to have used(a.k.a. the stuff he probably brings in the car):

Long range listening devices

Mini Geiger Counter

Jet powered hang glider

Briefcase w/ Batsuit and equipment in it(carried with him while he's bruce wayne, alfred usually ends up throwing it to him in a confused crowd scene, and did so most reccently in "Batman and Son")

Vehicles:

Batmobile

Batplane/Batwing

Motorcycles

Limo w/bulletproof paneling and windows

Various mini scooter/mini hovercraft type devices

Batboat

Batsubmarine

Special uniforms:

Various types of armored suits(as seen in "As The Crow Flies" and "Batman vs. Predator" if that counts)

Paratrooper outfit for skydiving(As seen in Hush)

Wetsuit/swimming outfit(pretty sure he was wearing one when he discoved Supergirl but correct me if I'm wrong)

Tech he's stolen from enemies and modified for his own uses:

Scarecrow's fear gas

Mr. Freeze's freeze gun

Are we just going with current stuff, or dso things like DKR's Anti-Superman suit and the Kingdom Come Batrobots count?

Very nice list to start things off, Tequilamokinbrd.

Yeah, I thought that this was going to get mired in Adam West territory.
Bat-bolas, shark repellent, carousel reversal spray... good times.

Oh, and someone mentioned those cape-weights, but on several occasions (most recently in Trinity, I believe) his cape actually had these blade things on the end that worked great for crowd control against henchmen.
