I came home from my dad's house today (I spent the weekend there) and I haven't seen my cat Chloe all day! If she were stuck in the house somewhere I'd hear her meowing, but I haven't! And she hasn't come to the door outside!
Chloe's GONE!
:(

A lost pussy is never a good thing.
Here's hoping Chloe returns. You might try putting out some of her food to lure her back.

Calm down, and don't worry. Put some food outside your door, keep watch, and maybe stick some signs up around town.
Most likely she'll come back on her own in a couple days. Maybe sooner if she's never been outside before. She'll probably be a bit scratched up, but she should be okay.
Just try not to panic - it won't make Chloe come back sooner, and it's just making you stressed and nervous.
Also, cats have a habit of finding the hardest to get to (for their owners) places possible in homes and then falling asleep there. If you want, put some dry food in a bowl and walk around the house for five minutes shaking it, and do that every fifteen minutes to a half hour. If she's still in the house in some secluded nook somewhere, she'll probably come out.

Ditto. I hope that Chloe is ok.

Another poster had a missing cat a month or so ago. I'll repeat what I said then.
The cat will turn up. It's off galavanting. Cats are like children. If they see a chance to cut capers and have fun, they will.
Be patient.
