I was wondering if anyone can give me some feedback on this game. I have been reading up about it and so far it seems like a great game. Out of all the MMOs out there it has the most classes/jobs in a game and some of them sound very interesting. I've played CoH and WoW and Guild Wars (might get the new expansion). But I've always liked FF games and by reading up on it on the site and other game sites it seems like a great game to get. AND to make things better there releasing a pack that has the game and ALL the expansions only for 30 bucks. So if someone has played it could you help me out and tell me how it plays and if it's a game that you wouldn't want to cancel your subscription.

I haven't played it but was going to buy it as well but its an online only game. Meaning you have to play with others online weather for computer or PS2. And since I don't have a online for my PS2 I passed on it.

From everyone I've known that's tried this one, they said it's one of the most unbelievably dull playing experiences they've ever had, and requires a massive time commitment to get ANYTHING done.

I've seen my dorm mates play this game and the battles are hella long. It takes like a team of players hours justto take down a tiny little monster. Its nuts.

But the character customiztion looked interesting at least.

How does it take long, are they fighting bosses or just trying to level up? And is it like a turned based game or action rpg?

No, they're fighting rabbits, from what I can glean from other people's experiences.

And I'd wager it plays similarly to any other MMO.

Anyone else out there have any thoughts about if the game (plus the 3 expansions) is worth playing for 30$ and to continue playing for a couple of months?
