Hay, just reading the joker article on wikipedia and it says he breaks the fourth wall, even knowing he's in a comic book, I'd love to check this out if anyone has a reference to where this takes place?

(PS, that emperor joker arc sounded right nasty. what did he do to batman in that one?)

In DC v. Marvel, he recognizes that Ben Reilly's costume is different from Peter Parker's.

In the DCAU cartoon, he occasionally speaks to the camera.

Not canon, I guess, but in the story told in the Batman: Master Series cards, Joker has Elseworlds visions of stories like The Blue, The Grey and the Bat and Holy Terror.
