* you aren't technically the "best" with Morrison, Waid and Busiek around. Sorry. But if DC didn't have them you'd definitely be #1. :D

Yeah, I'd agree that Gail is of DC's top-tier.

Gail is a great writer who keeps me engaged and amused.

I agree that it's a little bit silly to start a praise thread by immediately diminishing her in favor of other authors.
Still, I chose to ignore that bit, and responded more to the thread title.

A friend went to England, and upon going to a dance, asked the people "who in here knows how to shag?" She could not figure out why people were laughing. She wanted to dance. Poor thing.
She was not bad as a chick I knoew who was saying the french phrase from "Lady Marmalade" to guys. I asked her if she knew what she was saying. She was like, "nope." I had to tell her. She turned three shades of red.
