I've started buying ult spiderman trades in no particular order and I've recently bought one and two.. But it seems like i'm missing something between those trades. Like when did spiderman get webshooters and the webbing on his costume? Volume two makes reference to something happening at school with spidey showing up. Any help is appreciated

Any help is appreciatedIt almost sounds like your first trade is missing chapter 6 or you didn’t read all of it. In the beginning of that chapter it shows that Parker has just finished making his web shooters and they show the SM costume with webs while he makes the comment “Spider-Man has webs.” About halfway through the same chapter his school gets attacked.

Ultimate Spider-Man is collected in trades and I recommend buying them in order to avoid spoilers. It kind of ruins reading through an older story for the first time when it was already spoiled by another trade.

It almost sounds like your first trade is missing chapter 6 or you didn’t read all of it. .

You may have gotten a cheaper trade. I bought volumes 1 and 2 from Target in a cheap paperback version that was missing a few things. They were only about $5, but the paper wasn't as good quality. THey had a whole story in each one, just not all that was in the more expensive trades.

Actually, no. The first trade includes issues #1-7. The second is #8-13.
