Chinese university to require golf lessons for business and law students. (http://www.cbc.ca/cp/Oddities/061017/K101702U.html)
I love the logic behind this. Golf is an activity where many business deals are made, ergo you should know how to play. I wonder if there are other activities students should be educated in, as well, that are neglected in most university curriculums. Like sucking up to the boss.

Lots of business deals are done in strip clubs, too.
Wonder if they'll offer a course on that? :D

It makes sense in China. Golf obsession among the business classes in SE Asia is scarily high.

Any university with a grading system teaches that by default.

There are actually some American universities that do this as well. They call it "Business Golf".

I think the Rock Star reality show should have challenges like "perform after shooting smack" and "blow the record company exec".

Mike Davis, the comics artist, used to run a program for ghetto kids who wanted to become comics artists.
As well as standard art teexts, Bad Boy Studios had Miss Manners guide ot Etiquette; GQ (I think - some men's fashion magazine) and a business new magazine on the required reading list - because they all covered material most of the students didn't know that was necessaary to a successful career in comics or commercial art.

Hence they should be teaching the same class Andy Dick taught in Old School.

The thing that really takes work is being able to golf in Hawaii while wearing a full business suit - an astonishing feat I witnessed when I visited there some years ago.
