I just finished JSA Classified #18. One of the better superhero comics I've read this month. A good father-son story where the relationship was part of the story, not grafted on for cheap sentiment.
Best of all, when I finished, I felt like I had read a whole comic book, not 1/5 of a comic book. Is it just me, or is DC a lot better about that than Marvel?
EDIT: LOL, not to discount the effort of the writer! I just realized how bad that sounded.
But I am curious whether anyone else feels like there's a difference between the Big Two. Over the last couple of months, it seems like a much higher percentage of the DC comics in my pile have a "meatier" story (e.g. Birds of Prey, Action, most of the JSA Classified issues).
