I hope everyone is reading this series. It features exciting new adventures of our man Harvey, drawn by a mix of established and lesser-known artists.
The cover story in this issue, about Harvey fixing a broken toilet, was interesting but a little deceptive. All Harvey really did was spend several hours plunging the toilet; I'm not sure what he did that was so scientific or intelligent. It was funny though. The story about picking up his foster daughter in a snowstorm was fantastic, very harrowing and exciting. Unfortunately the two stories with superstar artists (Eddie Campbell and Richard Corben) did not quite live up to their promise. Corben's and Harvey's styles somehow didn't seem to match.
In the last story, about the comic convention, I found myself wondering if this was supposed to be Comicon. The ceiling appeared to be way too low for the Comicon exhibit hall, but the badges were the type used at Comicon.
