Conan Question

I heard that there was a series of comics called "Conan: The Sumerian" that were done in black and white is this true? If so does anyone know a link I could go to to look at what they looked like or possibly buy one?

I don't know about this series, but it was most likely titled "Conan the Cimmerian" (not "Sumerian")...that might help you search properly.

The only b&w Conan series I know of was Savage Sword of Conan back in the 70's

I guess there were probably more than just that one, but I'm a pretty big Conan buff and I've never heard of that particular title.

Conan appeared in black and white in the aforementioned "the Savage sword of Conan" and "Savage tales", both published by Marvel. A reprint B&W mag was also available for a while, and titled "Conan saga".

Conan was also featured in a black and white (and unauthorized) Mexican comic titled "La reina de la costa negra", (very) loosely adapted from the Conan short story "Queen of the Black Coast".
