Of course, you should know best, but I don't see it on Diamond's list this week, so this is a curious state of affairs.

I should know best...but that doesn't mean that I do...
I see that it isn't on Diamond's list for tomorrow OR next week.
I'm going to still say the books will be available tomorrow since Diamond recieved them last week.

I'll go to the shop anyway.
Mouse Guard is worth the trip, even if it's in vain. :)
According to my LCS online invoice, which doesn't show what's scheduled, but what he was actually invoiced for, it is not coming.
See for yourself (http://www.astrolib.com/en/shiplist/currentship.html)
I'm going anyway, because Mouse Guard is the great.

Sorry folks :(I don't know what's going on elsewhere, but I got it yesterday in Ohio. Good issue. I liked the olde fashioned script pages (beautiful and an interesting way to change the mood) and the quotes from the Mouse Guard Guide, or whatever it was called. How in the world are you going to wrap this up in one issue?!?
One question, and I'll be vague so as not to spoil, but did we find out who that was and I missed it, or is this a new revelation?
Note to the rest of the nation:

A review from someone else who got it (Mwa-ha-ha-ha!!!), courtesy of Chris's Invincible Super-Blog (http://the-isb.blogspot.com/2006/10/week-in-ink-10-25-06.html). I think he likes it.
Mouse Guard #5: If I was told a year ago that one of my favorite mini-series of 2006 would feature an issue with a four-page illuminated manuscript sequence that revealed the secret origin of the greatest mouse warrior of all time and his unstoppable axe, I would've... Well, I probably would've believed you, because that does sound pretty awesome. The point is, with David Petersen's incredible storytelling, Mouse Guard's actually living up to every expectation I had for it, even with the incredible amount of buzz surrounding it before its release, and that's no small feat.

My comic story just got the issue today. I'm excited for the conclusion, and the colors in this issue were fantastic. I liked the manuscript pages a lot.

Got my hands on it today. Beautiful as always... gets me itchin for that hardcover. Which should see the book reach an even wider audience.

I read it again yesterday, and had time to look more closely at the storytelling. Really well done, David. I love how you kept moving the camera, conveying how panicked the mice were, both with Celanawe, Kenzie, and Saxon going to the weapons keep, and with Sadie and Rand in Lockhaven. The physically reduced format is really working well too.
I can hardly wait for the next issue.

Thank you all!
I have been trying to move the camera more and play with pacing
Glad you folks like it
