This is just a pointer to a thread I started on the Comm Board.
I thought that some of you might get a kick out of the CCA driven change to this Bob Powell drawn story.

Has anyone seen any other original art with Pre and Post Code art/dialogue?

Yes, but it was on the web, not in person--I'll try to remember.
I didn't read the forum thread on the 50 greatest artists/writers you referred to but I can imagine the reaction of older fans. (Not one EC artist makes the list?)

I find this 'early days of the Code' stuff to be interesting as the publisher were trying to adjust to the new rules. I'd be interested in checking out whatever website you saw with some sample.
The panels I posted were pretty good example of how subtle changes require a major reworking.
In addition - damn, do I ever love Bob Powell's artwork!
That's true - the list did reflect what is popular today, but some golden oldies did manage to sneak in there.
I was shocked by many of the selections/omissions, but I did learn about some newish creators whose work I may check out.
How many Classics regulars voted?

I forgot all about it ... & after looking at the 2 lists just now, I hereby resolve to forget all about it all over again. No Wally Wood (as someone alluded to recently on another thread)? Utterly laughable.
Of course, as ignorant as so many "fans" are of anything that's not sitting right in front of them on a given Wednesday at their LCS, I keep telling myself that 12 or 13 years ago Rob Liefeld probably would've been ranked among the top 10 artists.
Hmmm ... y'know, somehow that doesn't make me feel better at all.

That's my take on it too. I get the feeling that if they went through the same exercise next year (let alone in 5 or 10 yesrs), there would be a lot of shuffling around.
LR, I'm pretty sure the other examples I saw were horror/crime, not romance, which made your example pretty enlightening. What publisher was it for?
