Does it have a single player story campaign in it?

I played the original advance wars and I loved the gameplay (reminded me of nectaris for turbografx16) but I wanted like a single player storymode or something instead of the little mini training missions.

I think so. Don't the training missions eventually end in the first one and the main story starts?

I dont know. I kind of got tired of them and never finished them all. There are a bunch of mini missions, it didnt seem like a trainer. I probablly went through a dozen of them.

It does. I can confirm it 100%, I own it. If you ever get a copy and a DS we should play online.

The single player is fun as hell, although sometimes pretty difficult. This game is a must have for the DS.

If you own a DS, you need to own this game aswell. Its probably the best DS game.

Yes, the single player mode is fantastic, plenty and I mean plenty to unlock, loads of COs etc. The first 4 or 5 are "training missions" but thats all cool. This is seriously an AWESOME game.

..AWDS isnt an online game though. It would of been sickeningly awesome if it was.

I really hope they make an Advance Wars Dual Strike 2.
