Do you think the "Secret Wars" arc will reach the theaters? I know a lot of different movie studios own different Marvel heroes but is it possible for Sam Reily/[insert the name of the directors who directed the other movies of the other Marvel heroes here] to come together and bring their ideas into one to make this huge production?
I say it will be great because for the first time, you will get to see Spidey meeting Wolverine. :D

maybe animated, and probably using the semi-ultimate ultimate avenger type characters.
they did have a version of it in the spiderman cartoon kinda, but i guess that's not enough.
live action, it'll never happen. though one of those huge CGI infested LoTR type battle scenes with superheroes could look awesome.

Has the ultimate marvel U even had a secret wars?
I could imagine a direct to DVD cartoon. But not a movie.
Though I do think Secret War (the non Beyonder Bendis thing) might be a possibility. That concept would translate a little better into a 2 hour movie I think.

Hopefully as long as Harry Potter or something (3-3 1/2 hours) since there are a lot of plotlines involved.

A) No, a Secret Wars movie will never be made. Ever.
B) Sam Raimi.
C) Ever.

Yeesh, I don't think anyone's clamoring to see that made into a movie.
I concur with the no's on all three flavors of Secret Wars being made into movies; they just wouldn't transfer over very well and no one would be happy with the end result. For a movie-version crossover of Spidey, X-Men, FF, Hulk, etc., it would be better to just work from an original script designed for that purpose, as opposed to adapting Secret Wars, Civil War, or a similar comics event and then butchering it beyond recognition to get it to fit into a 2 hour movie format.

Or they could always make it into a live action TV series or something. *shrugs*

Or just leave it alone like they have been doing.

You kind of answered the question when you talked about the studios. So no it wont happen unless the people are from the same studio. Like you have one with Cap, Iron Man, Thor, some other Avengers. Or you could have one with Spider-man, F4 and the X-men.
They are so picky about that in the Daredevil movie they had Ben Urich work at New York post because they couldnt use The Daily Bugle.

Well, IMHO, I think the Secret Wars is not as popular as the other big story acrs (Civil War, The Other, etc.).

Probably because it came out a good couple of years before those events and by good couple of years, I mean 20 years plus.

Still, the appearance of the Green Goblin, Harru being the second GG, all these story arcs were before the time when Secret Wars came out, and yet they are widely noticed (and a little overrated I might add).

I don't think Secret Wars would be a good fit now, but maybe later in the future when alot more Marvel movies come out ( Thor - IM - Cap - Nick Fury *New* ). Even so I highly doubt it would even be made.
1. Movie Studios are very very greedy
2. Can't Fit Secret Wars into 2 hours (it would be a LOTR series but not as good)
3. I highyl doubt they would/could cast the orignal actors to play there parts
- Money
4. The preqeuls to every single char. would be cramed into 30-45 mins of explanation, w/ all the character hopin' many movie goers would get confused unless they got alot fo explainin'.
IMO Civil War would also be strenchin' it a bit far, since many don't know bout Civil War except comic junkies and internet whores ( Spider-Man unmaskin' would be grand though ). I just think that the solo project they are puttin' out should improve alot more before they go ahead and aim for a "crossover" movie.
But it would boost comic sales and alot of "dead" characters would seem to rise again. The only movie I could see is HoM movie, just focused on the mutant community, meanin' no Iron-Man, no Spider-Man. Just mutants. That would still be blah since in XIII there was this "cure". So HoM idea is blown out too.

i would rathere see a spidey daredevil movie

Yeah, I think a smaller scale cross with the street level charactersover would be more managable.
I can easily see a DD/Spidey team up. Down the line you could even throw Wolverine in there (there was an Ultimate Xmen where they teamed up... that could be tweaked into a descent movie). Electra teaming up with Logan works too.

Also movie continuity is different from comic continuity so many plotlines from the Secret Wars would be scuttled anyway. Colossus and Kitty are not a couple in the X-Men movies, so there would be no point in introducing Zsaji, for that matter(unless she's brought in to bust up a different couple). Also, since Spider-Man's black costume will figure in the next Spider-Man movie, bang goes the Symbiote plotline(and no, that's not a spoiler, it's been in the trailers for months).
Not to mention that half of the pivotal characters from the SW haven't even appeared in a major motion picture(Galactus and most of the Avengers, for example).

Not to mention all the villains.
