I just got a used psp, primarily to play games. but I was wondering what do you need in order to put videos and music on the machine. thanks.

A standard usb cable (like ones that some digital cameras use) and a PC. The memory stick works like a external drive.

There should be folders on the PSP labled as Music or Videos, you just copy the music or videos to those folders.

thanks, but what do you mean by "standard" usb cable because the one I have doesn't fit into the psp. is there a special size I need to get.

Yea, most Stores such as Game and Game Station should sell them, they come with the PSP, as yours PSP used the original cable may have been lost etc. So just pick one up form the stores.

They come with them nowadays, mine did not come with it (I got one of the first).

Er...looks liek this, the big end goes in the computer and the small one in the top of the PSP.
